INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the fourth week in a row, Cornell's men's tennis program is represented in the NCAA Region VII Rankings for May 8th, 2024, the final regional rankings of the season for men's tennis.

Alexander Hadler-Strumlauf & Federico Polidori finished as one of the top eight doubles pairs, and are in consideration (receiving votes). They were first representatives to be featured in the NCAA Region VII rankings in program history back on April 17th this season.

The senior doubles duo completed their final season with an 18-7 record at the No. 1 position, highlighted by a semi-final appearance in the #1 doubles bracket at the MWC Individual Championships. Both Hadler-Strumlauf and Polidori wrapped up illustrious careers as Rams each finishing in the top ten careers wins list in program history, third and tied for tenth respectively.

Hadler-Strumlauf was also awarded the Paul K Scott Senior Male Athlete Award this past Monday at the 2024 Rammy's.

Cornell finished 17-8 overall, 4-2 in conference duals. The Rams finished third in the MWC race, and earned the No. 3 seed in the MWC Team Tournament.

The NCAA Region VII ranks seven teams, eight singles players plus four in consideration, and six doubles pairs plus two in consideration. In the final edition of the rankings at the end of the season, the top two singles players, and top doubles pair earn automatic bids to the NCAA Singles & Doubles tournaments. Marco Siviero (Gustavus Adolphus) & Luke VanDonslear (UW-Whitewater) in singles, as well as Tyler Haddorf/Gage Gohl (Gustavus Adolphus) in doubles, were selected into the 2024 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships from Region VII.
