Hyundai has rolled out a series of discounts and offers on some of its most popular models for May 2024. This includes cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate discounts on selected vehicles such as the i20, Grand i10 Nios, and Venue.
Notably, the Hyundai Exter compact SUV is receiving an exchange bonus for the first time, marking a special offer for buyers. However, it's important to note that other models like the Verna, Creta, Alcazar, and Tucson are not included in this month's offers.
Hyundai Exter: First-Time Exchange Bonus
The Hyundai Exter, a competitor to the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, and Citroen C3, is now available with an exchange bonus of up to Rs 10,000. This model has been performing well, with sales exceeding 8,000 units monthly.
It is available in 17 trims, priced between Rs 6.13 lakh and Rs 10.28 lakh. The Exter is powered by an 83bhp, 1.2-litre petrol engine with both manual and AMT gearbox options, alongside a 68bhp CNG variant available only in manual.
Hyundai Venue: Sustained Discounts
The Venue compact SUV continues to offer discounts up to Rs 35,000, matching last month's offers. This includes a cash discount of up to Rs 25,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. Offering a choice between 1.2-litre petrol, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines, the Venue is priced between Rs 7.94 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Increased Benefits
The Grand i10 Nios now comes with benefits up to Rs 48,000, an increase of Rs 5,000 from the previous month. These offers include a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. With the fourth-gen Maruti Swift launch on the horizon, the Nios is gearing up for stiff competition.
Available from Rs 5.92 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 8.56 lakh (ex-showroom), it shares its 83hp engine with the Exter, along with manual and AMT gearbox options.
Hyundai i20: Enhanced Discounts
The Hyundai i20's offers have been bumped up by Rs 20,000 over last month, with discounts reaching up to Rs 45,000 in Central, North, and West India, and up to Rs 35,000 in East and South India. The i20 comes equipped with the same 83bhp petrol engine as the entry-level Venue, offering both manual and CVT auto transmissions.
On the other hand, the sportier Hyundai i20 N Line hatchback shares its 120bhp turbocharged petrol unit with the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV. Moreover, this variant is priced between Rs 7.04 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 12.52 lakh (ex-showroom).
DriveSpark Thinks
It's important for potential buyers to check with local dealers for the exact discounts and benefits available in their region, as these offers can vary based on city and stock availability. With these enticing offers, Hyundai aims to attract more customers to its showrooms, offering competitive benefits across a range of its models.
