Disney also held its upfront presentation on Tuesday, during which the studio announced that the WandaVision spin-off featuring Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness will debut on Disney+ with two episodes on September 18. The new series, which went through several title changes before landing on the best (in our opinion) and most obvious choice, Agatha All Along, will co-star Aubrey Plaza, Pattie LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Joe Lock, and Debra Jo Rupp and follow Agatha as she struggles to regain her powers after her defeat at the hands of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff in WandaVision.

Another title that announced its premiere date during the Disney upfront presentation was Hulu’s mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building, which revealed that the upcoming fourth season will debut on on August 27, with episodes to release weekly thereafter. The new season will follow Selena Gomez’s Mabel, Steve Martin’s Charles, and Martin Short’s Oliver as they attempt to unravel the mystery behind a season 3 death and determine whether or not one of them was the actual target.

During its first-ever upfront presentation, Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service announced that the anticipated second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will debut on August 29. The series takes place in the Second Age of author J.R.R. Tolkein’s fantasy world and depicts the early adventures of franchise stalwart characters like Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and Elrond (Robert Aramayo) and the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron (Charlie Vickers). The new season finds Sauron cast out by Galadriel and attempting to rebuild his strength in an effort to rule Middle-earth.

We’ve known for some time that the highly anticipated third season of FX’s multiple Emmy-winning series The Bear was set to premiere in June, but we didn’t know exactly when… until now. Thanks to a video shared on May 9, we now know that season 3 will debut on June 27, and like the previous two seasons, all episodes will drop at once on Hulu. The new season will follow Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edibiri), and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they bear the ups and downs of running their newly converted fine dining restaurant.

Batman fans of a certain age who wax nostalgic about the glory days of Batman: The Animated Series will undoubtedly be happy about Prime Video’s upcoming Batman: Caped Crusader, whose first season will drop in its entirety on August 1. The new series will serve as a reimagining of Batman’s origins and early crimefighting days, returning to the character’s film noir roots, and it was developed by some heavy hitters in J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm, the latter of whom was the man behind Batman: TAS.

The sixth and final season of Netflix’s Karate Kid sequel series Cobra Kai is going big, splitting into three parts of five episodes each that will debut on the streamer on three separate dates. Cobra Kai: Season 6Part 1 will premiere on July 18, 2024, Part 2 will premiere on November 24, 2024, and Part 3 comes in 2025, though we don’t have a precise date for that yet. Season 6 will see the combined forces of Daniel’s (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny’s (William Zabka) students dealing with the threat of an escaped John Kreese (Martin Kove).
