The Blues Foundation announced its winners for the 2024 Blues Music Awards Thursday night in Memphis, Tennessee.

 

  • Album of the Year  : “Live In London” by Christone “Kingfish” Ingram (Alligator)

 

  • BB King Entertainer of the year (Best concert): Bobby Rush
  • Song of the year  :  What kind of fool  by Ruthie Foster, Hadden Sayers & Scottie Miller

 

  • Best Vocalist  : Ruthie Foster
  • Best Guitarist  : Christone “Kingfish” Ingram
  • Band of the Year  : The Nick Moss Band
  • Best Acoustic Blues Artist : Keb’ Mo’
  • Male soul blues artist  : John Németh
  • Contemporary female blues artist  : Danielle Nicole
  • Soul Blues Album  : “All My Love For You” by Bobby Rush (Deep Rush / Thirty Records)

 

  • Contemporary Blues Album  : “Live In London” by Christone “Kingfish” Ingram (Alligator)
  • Traditional male blues artist  : John Primer
  • Best Drummer  : Kenny “Beedy Eyes” Smith
  • Female soul blues artist  : Annika Chambers
