Jointly directed by Gwyneth Horder-Payton, Blackhorse Lowe, Deborah Kampmeier, Josh Brolin, and Catriona McKenzie, Outer Range Season 2 will pick up from exactly where it ended in the first season.
Joshn Brolin is reprising his role as Royal Abbott, the 7-episode series will also see other actors reprising their respective roles including Lili Taylor as Cecilia Abbott, Imogen Poots as Autumn, Tom Pelphrey as Perry, Tamara Podemski as Deputy Sheriff Joy Hawk, Shaun Sipos as Luke Tillerson, Lewis Pullman as Rhett, Olive Abercrombie as Amy, and Isabel Arraiza as Maria Olivares.
The sci-fi neo-Western series revolves around the story of a middle-aged man named Royal Abbott who struggles to keep his family happy. One day, his life changes after he finds a massive mysterious black void in his backyard. And the mystery is expected to go deeper in the second season.
The official synopsis of Outer Range Season 2 reads, "The mystery surrounding the enigmatic void on the west pasture of the Abbott family ranch deepens in Season 2, as Royal and his wife Cecelia struggle to keep their family together in the aftermath of their granddaughter's sudden disappearance."
