Packed with wit, charm and mistaken identity, Oscar Wilde’s razor-sharp comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest is presented at Grosvenor Park this summer.

Join the hilarious escapades of Jack, an orphan with a penchant for partying in London under the guise of the fictional ‘Earnest’. Alongside him is the irreverent Algernon, equally entangled in the web of playful deception.

Oscar Wilde’s brilliant satire is brought to life under the stars by the same team that brought you Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre’s riotous Shakespearean comedies.

Established in 2010, Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre is one of the UK’s best-loved open-air theatres and regularly plays to sold-out audiences across the summer. The theatre is produced by Storyhouse, Chester’s award-winning cultural centre.
