Trying to figure out timing/locations for lodging. Flying into Zurich at the end of May at 4:30pm, renting a car and would like to move down the road a bit for our day two in Zermatt. Would the Lauterbrunnen area or Interlaken area be reasonable? Would like to not drive too long in the dark and stop early enough to grab dinner. On day of departure, will be leaving in the early to mid afternoon and moving east towards ghe passes. Which city would be reasonable to stay on that day? We'd like to drive some of the scenic passes the first week of June and understand driving them will be weather dependent, but are looking for suggestions on favorite lodging for three nights in those areas (same lodging location is not necessary), please, on our slow return back up to Zurich. Also, we do know that we need to train our car in, park it and then train to Zermatt.
