We have been coming to al lago for the last seven or more years. Every thing about Al lago has us coming back. The food is out favorite in Spain. The owners, Mona & Stephan are simply the best. Everything Stephan prepares in his kitchen is divine. The rooms at the bed and breakfast are decorated so lovely and everything about the quaint place has us longing for another visit. We have lost track of how many times we have stayed here. Each time is better than the next! And of course the view….

Absolutely superb
We called at the last minute wanting a specialised menu and the staff were more than happy to oblige. We enjoyed the tater menu (gluten free) with wine with each course.
The staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and the chef was happy to make amendments to the courses to satisfy my needs.
Delicious food. Great views. Incredible service. Reasonable price. Lovely setting. Clean, tidy, welcoming.

Great breakfast with fresh tomato and avocado and OJ and coffee overlooking the lake. Wonderful place.

We were on the way to see the castle at Zahara de la Sierra and it was about lunch time. We stopped in the entrance of the city and walk a short distance trying to find a place to eat. We came across this restaurant and decided to have lunch there even not knowing anything about it. Smartest decision in a long time. The ambience is perfect for a couple but it will fit big families or else. We asked for the Lamb Leg a house specialty. It was sublime. I can certainly say it was the best I have in my whole life and, you see, I'm over 60. The whole meal was quite good and the price quite fair. It deserves a second trip there.
