FlySpain coped well with a group of 20 from our club, and catered for low airtime as well as cross country pilots.
The guides were excellent, setting tasks, giving advice on the radio, organising retrieves and all with friendly banter. I was especially impressed with the thermalling coaching offered on the radio to the low airtimers, with names of pilots and wings being remembered, and crucially some good results being achieved. It was all done in a friendly low stress manner and I found it enjoyable to listen to.

A special call out to Fred and Stu in the air ( and coaching from the ground) and Maik in the bus. The morning planning and postmortem sessions run by Rob were also a good way for people to learn.

He flights were quite technical but I still managed an XC on the flyable days, even if some were short. The weather could have been a little better with les wind, higher base, and more consistent climbs, but given the choice I would prefer the luck of a big lottery win. This is paragliding so we have to take the less flyable days in the chin. One of our party still managed a 100km flight, and it was always warm and sunny, so no complaints there.

I enjoyed the accommodation, especially being in the front of the Eagles Nest as it was cooler facing more north, and the rest of the house was roomy and in a good location. It was made more fun by having a big group of us staying and managed to accommodate us all for the morning briefings.

The party at Robs on the first night was the best paragliding party I've attended and it was a good job sting winds were prevalent the following day, as we were in no state to fly after the hospitality shown. The lake was also fun, with Rob going out of the way to organise this for us, and the meal on the last night also well done.

I'm going back to attend a FlySpain SIV next year, so yes it's recommended. Something for every level of pilot.

Great week FlySpain, Niall and Stu got us flying every day. The trip started off with the colourful "Dos de Mayo Celebration in Algodonales" and ended with a day at the beech flying the dunes in Matalascañas. Magic!

a dream realised and delivered impeccably by the flyspain team!
Nile, Marcus and Theo could not be faulted, their tuition was clear to understand and they presented themselves and the information in a way that installed confidence to us as students. they worked relentlessly to ensure progression and maximum flight time whilst ensuring safety was paramount. they often joined us for food, beers, stories and laughs in the evenings, a great group of guys to hang out with socially.

the facilities and equipment were top notch and again could not be faulted, the accommodation was clean & comfortable, the view from the terraces was stunning and only came in second place when compared to the views from the air.

although iv'e travelled extensively through a passion for surfing and experienced many unforgettable moments the flyspain experience provided by rob & co has cemented itself in my top 3!

thank you all for opening my eyes and heart to this magical sport and for providing the foundation for a life long passion, you have a life long customer in me and i look forward to getting back out to flyspain asap!

I have undertaken 3 courses at FlySpain, EP / CP Paramotor, CP Hill and CP+. I have really enjoyed every visit I have had at Flyspain and the wonderful village of Algodonales.
The accommodation comprises of a couple of traditional houses up on the hill within close walking distance to the village centre and shops.
The house is very pleasant and offers comfortable rooms.
The staff are what really make FlySpain a joy to visit. All the staff from your pickup at the airport to instructors are fantastic.
My course this time was CP+ which is targeted at low airtime pilots. In 6 days i managed to fly nearly 6 hours which is almost double my UK time in the last 18 months.
We visited 7 different flying sites in 6 days and got to fly i a whole range of conditions really helping my confidence. I broke all my personal records (longest flight, highest fight etc).

Beyond the flying the village of Algodonales is wonderful with cheap beer, great food and friendly locals.

I would recommend FlySpain to anyone and hope to get back each year!
