Kelly Clarkson brought on guest star Zachary Levi on her talk show in March to perform a sweet rendition of the classic duet “Something Stupid” by Frank and Nancy Sinatra, and their voices sounded silky smooth during the gorgeous performance.

The slow-tempo song kicked off right away with their stunning vocals as they stood in front of moody, purple lighting. “I know I stand in line until you think you have the time to spend an evening with me,” they gently crooned together in unison. “And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there's a chance you won't be leaving with me."

“Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place, and have a drink or two,” they harmonized while Clarkson used a pleasant twang in her voice and the guitars strummed in the background.

“And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I love you,” they sang the song’s signature lyrics with a tender tone.

For the second verse, things began to pick up in pace with some subtle synths that added texture. “I can see it in your eyes you still despise the same old lines you heard the night before, and though it's just a line to you, for me it's true and never seemed so right before,” they impressively sang in one breath while Clarkson began to climb up in her higher register and hit some more sustained notes.

“I practice every day to find some clever lines to say to make the meaning come true, but then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late and I'm alone with you,” the sang, using some heavenly vibrato that gave the tune a vulnerable essence.

“The time is right; your perfume fills my head, the stars get red, and oh the night's so blue,” they sang with passion.

“And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I love you,” they continued with cheeky smiles on their faces.

Then, for the lovely outro, the two repeated “I love you” in harmony until the instruments faded out. The amount of talent is overwhelming, and we can say that Frank Sinatra himself would have been proud.
