I ordered this for my adapted PE students. After a week I smelled smoke and the Xbox would not work. I noticed some liquid coming out of the ac power adapter. Long story short, I contacted the company and they were more than willing to make things right. They shipped me another adapter and I have not had any problems since.

Excellent price for an Xbox 360, I would've liked to have gotten the Xbox one but the Xbox one as you all know is just too doggone expensive at this point my grandkids are fine with this 360 and playing and having a ball with it. I would bet that if you wait till after Christmas you'll be only get some killer deals on the Xbox 360 and the connect works fine as far as I'm concerned don't waste your money on the Xbox one unless you just have a bunch of money to throw around. As usual Amazon did an excellent job of getting the product to me on time undamaged I can't say enough about Amazon I buy everything on line why go to the store and fight the lines when Amazon will bring it to your door in two days for free if you are a prime member.

I didn't receive the XBXO 360 E model like explained and displayed, but I received the XBOX 360 S model. It's not a big deal, but I was looking forward to getting the E model.

As a high tech "veteran" (hardware & software) in the field for over 25 years, I cannot score this produce low enough.
Initial setup took 1.5 hours. When a problem comes up (at least a couple a week) it another 45 minutes or more wasted trying to get this POS working to play games. I will summarize:
* Does not save WiFi settings when turned off. Need to go through the wireless setup everyone. I have worked around this by running a 50 ft Ethernet cable directly to the box. In contrast, my Macbooks, Android Tablets, iPhone nor the WII have this problem
* A subscription to XBOX live is required to run the popular games. At a cost of $10/mo. I didn't not know that until after my purchase. WII and Playstation (I don't own a play station) don't have this additional fee.
* Setting up and registering and XBOX live account... another hour wasted. Apparently MS didn't like something about my email address but it didn't tell me that.. it just FAILED with a cryptic error code... no help at all. I told my 10yo daughter to try registering 'cause I was sick and tired of trying to debug this crap, but she got it 'cause she used her throw-away email account she uses to use for some sites (yes I monitor what she does on line) and it worked. yay.
* When xbox live trial expired, it took another 45 minutes to sign up again. Luckily we have 7 computers in the house so one of those worked... browser problem... Funny that I don't have these "browser issues" on Amazon or EBAY or NETFLIX or any of my ISPs webmail and on-line utilities... just with Microsoft websites.

I've got a few other gripes about the xbox, but they're minor in comparison.

Had I know ahead of time of all the trouble this thing causes, I would never have bought it.

I think MS does not put required effort into usability or reliability testing (remember the XBOX problem 4 years ago, where it stopped working because they used untested manufacturing methods and electrical contact to the Intel CPU failed? 100,000s of XBOXes stop working not soon after the warranty expired) I think this lack of quality exists in the software and games too.
