Great service from Shipley.

Great service from Shipley.
The courier was very competitive and expeditious.
My only less than positive observation was that the driver was from Romania and did not speak a word of English.
The bottom line is that the shipment was deliver as promised and without mishap.February

Beware

Beware. Fake review written using my username giving the shipping company I contracted with 5 stars. I’ve sent a request using their online form to Shipley for help to remove a review that was written that I Didn’t write. First off the pickup of my shipment was late, I still have NOT received my boat (exceeding the 4 transit days that was quoted) and I just received pictures that my boat was damaged. I still haven’t seen my boat in person.

Shipley responded asking if I wanted to remove the review I wrote. I wrote back again stating I never wrote the review and that something unscrupulous was going on. I still awaiting a response. I cannot login in, change my password but I can still see my account.

I don’t think Shipley isn’t taking it seriously that fraud is happening on their site. Hopefully I will get my boat. What should have been a three day delivery is seven days and counting. A ton of miles is being added to our trailer not to mention the damage to our boat. BEWARE. You will not get any support. (No support phone numbers either)

UPDATE: even after filing a troubleshooting ticket Shiply has not deleted the fake review - 5 days after I made the request. Also, there isn’t a way for me to file a true review of the company I contracted with. What a scam.

Fast responses with quotes

Fast responses with quotes, which reduced competitively, to became sensible amounts within a day. Excellent communication from courier, so that it all went smoothly.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY - happy to take your money - and happy to see you get ripped off.

BEWARE - Shiply OFFER NO SUPPORT with delivery or payment issues.

I completed an outstanding payment after my item was collected - but the delivery company claimed they didn't receive payment and tried to get me pay AGAIN - I felt intimidated by their communication (we wont deliver till you pay etc) and so I very nearly paid AGAIN. I had paid 0 using the stupid Shiply link - that DOESN'T record payments made

I asked Shiply to step in - their response was

'Also, since the Shiply site acts as a neutral venue through which transport providers and users can meet and enter into negotiations. We are in no way involved in the actual transaction and assume no control over the quality, safety, or legal aspects of the jobs and/or transactions that take place through the site. '

Personally - I would be VERY careful of using Shiply - they are happy to take your money - and happy to see you get ripped off.

I addition to this - the delivery still hasn’t happened and now the driver wants another £25 to complete it - this now feels like extortion and the only contact I’ve had from shiply is try and take down my review.

Aim of moving sofa was achieved

Sofa collected a little late due to traffic, but I was notified they would be late. Sofa delivered next day but without bag of cushions. Bag was located in the warehouse and delivered 2 days later.
