Mother’s Day Sunday should be mostly dry, with temperatures staying below-average in the upper 60s. Occasional showers may occur. Clouds will decrease in the evening when mostly clear conditions are expected.

Skies will be mostly sunny on Monday, with temperatures reaching the upper 70s along with low humidity.

On Tuesday, rain and thunderstorms return to the D.C. region as a disturbance moves in from the southwest. Severe weather risk is low at this time. The best chances for thunderstorms look to occur in the evening.

Thunderstorm chances continue across the D.C. region Wednesday, but a risk of severe weather is low at this time.
