Subreddit for the BuzzFeed series "Worth It" featuring the food adventures of Steven Lim, Andrew Ilnyckyj, Adam Bianchi, and their guests!
I made a map of all the places visited in the Worth It Series
I copied and updated the spreadsheet created by reddit user u/pauseforasecond, who created the first spreadsheet and posted it to the FoodNYC subreddit.
Here is the link to the Map.
Here is the link to my version of the original spreadsheet, I added a few more columns as well as started linking to each restaurant's entry on Google Maps since some restaurants don't always have reliable web presence (or reliable website formatting).
I am going to cross post this in r/FoodLosAngeles and r/FoodNYC since those seem to be the two largest areas visited in the show.
Obviously it will be sometime before we'll all be able to get out and visit these places, but when we do at least there will be a handy way to get some ideas for where to eat. It was a little sad to see that some of the restaurants featured have closed down, but the vast majority of them are still open.
I don't think the series is any sort of cultural beacon, so it's not like being featured on the show is any sort of ringing endorsement. Nevertheless I would be interested to look into the economic impact that being featured on the show has. For what it's worth, one of the restaurants featured twice on the show, Pasta Sisters, was able to open a second location because of the business generated from being featured in an episode.
This is awesome, I started taking notes when watching the show but this is on a whole new level
Thank you for this
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Thank you for putting this together. It's sad to know that some of these locations have had to permanently close due to the pandemic. Spoon by H being the latest that comes to mind.
