Blizzard's World Of Warcraft is the biggest and most famous MMORPG in the world. Ever since it was first released in 2004, it has managed to create a huge community: at its peak in 2010, there were approximately 12 million players in the world, but the numbers have since then declined. Over all, there were more than 100 million accounts created in the last 16 years. The otherwise stimulating and captivating game is by no means perfect, though. While it is true that fans love the socializing aspect of it and it fosters true friendships, it is also highly addictive.

We often forget that celebrities are just like us. Some of them also love to play video games, and casting spells in WoW are no exception. When playing WoW, they can be whoever they want to be and most importantly, have normal conversations with people without anyone knowing they are actually really famous. Most have not shared what character they play at all.

13 Felicia Day

Felicia Day's first bigger role was playing a minor character on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and later on appearing often in Supernatural. She is also the creator, producer and star of her very own comedy web series, called The Guild that ran from 2007 to 2013. When she wasn't taking roles, she used to religiously play World Of Warcraft, which served as an inspiration for The Guild. While the stereotypical gamer is usually portrayed as a single man living in his parents' basement, Felicia Day attempted to show that there are all kinds of gamers out there in the world.

In May, she shared an unfinished machinima sitcom that takes place in WoW. While some fans are frustrated that she tends to leave things unfinished, they mostly agree that it's very fun to watch.

12 Mr. T

It's a well-known fact that those who appear in WoW commercial also play the game in real life. Mr. T was on it from the very beginning and he appeared in a commercial back in 2007. The haircut from the clip is still available for Night Elves. Other celebrities who also appeared in commercials include Ozzy Osbourne and Aubrey Plaza.

Mr. T has not been very active in the world of show business since his illness in the nineties, but he remains an iconic figure who was first cast in Rocky III back in the early eighties.

11 Jessica Simpson

She started off as a singer, but now she also has acting, reality TV and business experience under her belt. Even though she worked in the entertainment industry already as a girl, she has a huge breakthrough at the turn of the century and when she married Nick Lachey. She also wrote several books. The most recent one is called Open Book and it was just published this year.

When she's not working, she apparently also plays World Of Warcraft - or at least she did ten years ago. She never discussed it at length in public, so it's hard to speculate whether she is still playing or not.

10 Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz is one of those actors who quit their careers and decided to pursue other passions instead. She is very vague about what she does now, she only said that she is a creator. She started playing World of Warcraft a while ago and even confessed to being addicted to it.

Unfortunately, it's not known on which server she played or what her character was. According to allwomenstalk, she still plays here and there these days. In a game where there is a new goal to aim for, it's no wonder that people find it so compelling.

This Armenian-American beauty is most known for playing Clementine Pennyfeather on Westworld. She also appeared in The Twilight Saga. She is a great fit for supernatural series that have a bit of magic going on. It seems that she is also interested in magical places in her private life, too. She has been playing WoW for years now.

In 2019, she came to BlizzCon and showed great interest in the newest expansion packs. She called the game cozy and what she loves the most about it is the fact that you can play together with friends, going on adventures and constantly bettering yourself and the way you play. Ever since finding out about it, she hasn't played other games at all.

The famous producer and stand-up comedian Dave Chappelle also knows a thing or two about World of Warcraft. This happened a while ago so it's hard to say whether it's still true or not, but he once told his live audience that he plays the iconic MMORPG. Some fans started cheering him on, to which he replied: "I knew I had some geek brothers and sisters up in here!"

He often expressed his love for gaming. Besides WoW, he also played a lot of Grand Theft Auto.

3 Jamie Lee Curtis

Of all the people who play World of Warcraft, approximately 35% are women. Jamie Lee Curtis is 61 years old, but she is one of the most notable celebrities in the WoW community. In 2016, she came to the premiere of Duncan Jones's movie Warcraft in an orc cosplay. Apparently, it's her son that plays and she reduces herself to a mere supporter. Considering how much she knows about the game, there is no way she hasn't tried playing it herself. After all, she knows all about Leeroy Jenkins.

He also played together with Ronda Rousey, unwinding after shooting movies together. Vin Diesel was apparently a druid and she was a blood elf Rogue.

1 Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis is the most famous WoW gamer in the community and she apparently developed a serious addiction to the game, so she had to stop for a while. This was when she was dating Macaulay Culkin who also played the game.

Her private life seems really normal compared to certain other Hollywood stars. This woman loves to game and spend time with her family first and foremost.
