Leisure World Health Club

They recently added some really nice equiptment to the Free Weight Room down stairs, doubling the platforms and racks so people are not waiting, great improvement, big upgrade. Upstairs was an entire new training area with plenty of room and some amazing speciality equiptment. I like the two cardio areas as one down stairs and one upstairs.

Wonderful gym!! A little hard to get out of the membership but great if you live in the area.

During the pandemic this business did not follow Covid protocols. I only came back after the restrictions were lifted for our area because of excellent group exercise teachers. The club does not maintain strict cleanliness standards. The owner recently removed our use of the area where classes were held. Teachers or participants were not notified of the day for the change by text, email, or even a note on the door.

I would not recommend this exercise facility.

This health club has everything I need to stay fit as well as relax. I always feel so comfortable and welcome by the friendly staff. They even have a kids center that parents can utilize while they get their workout/relaxation time in. The family package is a great deal, I highly recommend joining!

Business has removed all mask requirements for their building, not just when using equipment. Staff refuse to wear masks and are spreading misinformation (Mask mandate no longer applies to gyms; telling clientele once they get vaccinated, masks aren't needed anyways). If the cleanliness of the locker and shower rooms is any indication of how well things are sanitized and cleaned here, well, I'm just glad I cancelled our membership today.

SEE PHOTOS! Refuses to fix anything! Rusty on everything! Hot tub is extremely chlorinated to the point of being unsafe. Sauna is always broke. Refuses to help Veterans. Truly unbelievable.

Love Love Love this gym! Great equipment and friendly staff! Going here is always a relaxing experience. I love the classes offered as well.

have been a member of Leisure World Health Club for about 35 years now. And I recently turned 93 years old - still feeling good, but starting to look my age now. But there is no question in my mind that being a member of this health club has enabled me to live this long by maintaining my health through a regular exercise program. I do a full body workout three times a week. So, as far as I'm concerned, the key to your longevity is to respect your genetics, and treat your body accordingly. You won't find a better equipped gym than Leisure World Health Club within thirty miles. If you join, or you are a member now, you'll probably see me there doing my routine.

I am so happy to be able to come back to Leisure world in collinsville il. It is remodeled and they are cleaning constantly. I feel very safe in returning. The staff and owner are wonderful!!!!

Not too much to say, this is your typical health club. Cardio Machines, Free Weights, Pool, etc basically everything you would expect from a regular health club. The employees working the front desk are always friendly.

I would rate this higher however I had some bad experiences in the past, the pool has basically become a place for kids to play. If you are a swimmer, do not go during family nights, Tues & Thursday.
