Apr 10, 2024

Unless you’re a competitive athlete or professional trainer, “exercise more” is probably one of your goals for the new year. Getting in shape and being healthier are consistently society’s top resolutions, and 2022 is no different. However, gone are the days where you have to go to the gym for a sweat-inducing workout. What makes this January distinct is the amount of at-home exercise options. All the major fitness brands—Equinox, Barry’s, and SoulCycle—now offer classes that you can do from the comforts of your living room. Smaller studios and individual instructors also have a plethora of on-demand and virtual programming. Honestly, there has never been a more exciting time to work out, and we're proving it by sharing our favorite online fitness classes.

The Sculpt Society by Megan Roup

Megan Roup’s sculpt and dance cardio workouts are all about making the body and mind feel good. Every day she posts a new video, and at least four days a week, she offers a live class. Variety is plentiful in both the type and duration of each session. You can choose to do a 50-minute full-body routine with dance cardio, 10-minute abs, or a 23-minute arm and booty sculpt. Roup believes that by committing to less, we can show up more and advises members to stack classes or start by doing 5-minutes of movement per day. The best thing about The Sculpt Society is Roup herself. She’s warm and welcoming, encouraging and engaging, fun, and friendly. She clearly explains the moves in a way that is easy to follow with different angles and detailed descriptions. If you were a cheerleader in high school or on the dance team in college, we highly recommend giving her a shot.
