Is Anees Bazmee making a sequel to ‘Deewangee’ with Ajay Devgn?
Director Anees Bazmee who is on cloud nine after the super success of his recent horror-comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has one more good news to share. During a recent interview with a media outlet, the ace filmmaker revealed that his 2006 film ‘Naam’, starring Ajay Devgn, will finally release this year.
While sharing his thoughts on the delayed release of ‘Naam’, Anees insisted despite the massive delay, the emotion, relationship and the essence of the film everything remains the same.
He added that there are some stories that stay relevant even after 25 years. According to him, when a film releases after a long time, there will be some differences but the essence of the story will be the same as it was like before.
He also shared that they have a plan to make a sequel to another Ajay Devgn cult film ‘Deewangee’, which was again directed by Anees Bazmee in 2002. He says if a person could be that shrewd when the film came out, now after 20 years what level he would be at. The filmmaker adds if he can spin a story around it, then they will surely make ‘Deewangee 2’. The 2002 film was a psychological thriller starring Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna and Urmila Matondkar in the lead. This was Ajay Devgn's first film in a negative role.

Anees Bazmee also hinted that the much-awaited ‘No entry’ sequel will go on floors soon and he has already met Salman Khan 2-3 times to discuss the film.
