Is Jameis Winston trying to sell his signed, personalized Mike Evans jersey?

Now that Jameis Winston is playing for a division rival after five years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is he trying to unload some of his personal Bucs belongings for a little cash?

Spotted by eagle-eyed Bucs superfan Steven Cheah, there’s an eBay listing for a signed Mike Evans jersey that appears to be personally autographed to “Jaboo,” which is Winston’s nickname.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Winston spent most of the last five seasons as the Bucs’ starting quarterback, breaking just about every passing record in franchise history. But his inability to avoid turnovers in large numbers led to the team allowing him to leave this offseason after his rookie contract expired.

Evans, Tampa Bay’s first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, put up huge numbers with Winston as his quarterback, breaking many Bucs records of his own while establishing himself as one of the league’s most consistently productive pass-catchers. He’s topped 1,000 yards in each of his first six seasons in the league (tied with Hall of Famer Randy Moss), with Winston throwing him the ball most of the time over that stretch.

Winston signed a cheap, one-year deal with the Saints in free agency, and he’s now preparing to face his old team Sunday as a backup to Drew Brees, as the Saints and Bucs are set to open their 2020 season in Week 1.

Who knows if this is actually a jersey signed and given to Winston, but it’s certainly a curious find, to say the least.
