“WINGS OF FIRE” -A Book that Influenced me the most.

Wings Of Fire

what you imagine,is what will transpire.what you
beleive is what you will achiece
A.P.J. Abdul kalam,wings of fire.

I’m very proud to say that the first book I read was “wings of fire” by APJ Abdul kalam sir.
What a simple man with a strong belief in this thoughts.
Thoughts which not only lifted missiles but various young minds of the nation as well.
This book is an autobiography which not only focuses on a single man’s journey but on how his
spark motivated the people in his circle. It truly ignites readers to dream big and to believe in oneself, to achieve one’s dreams.
One of the greatest aspects of the book is that even if a man with minimal imagination skills reads it, he can very well relate and can travel along with the author. That’s the level of impact this book has on the readers.

I’m a 21 year old adult now and can still remember the 11 year old me who read this masterpiece
and still feel the fresh sea breeze from Rameswaram, where the journey with the book begins.
That’s how deeply I am still attached and involved with the book.

From a boy selling newspapers to the missile man of India, the book captivates your
attention and imagination to the life of a boy coming from a fisherman’s family and his
extraordinary journey of becoming the most loved and respected president of India,
to the man who gave recognition to our country worldwide in the field of science.
Every stage of his life has so much depth and learning on how simplicity and good
thoughts can transform a person and uplift one as a whole.

” Wings of Fire ” is as simple as the man himself because of the language
used to pen down his autobiography is in the simplest form,
even a school child can understand the science behind the missile,
projects he was involved in.This book is reflection of sir kalam
because it attracts the youth of the nation giving them
a road to transform this nation by transforming themselves first, for which he was an example himself.

There were no huge monuments, sculptures, building and property that he owned
but positive thoughts, ideas which he left behind for the nation.
For the upcoming minds, that’s how simple but still so strong this man was
and that’s what this book talks about.
