Original Windows Movie maker? (solved, link here)

Hello, I'm looking for a trusted download source to redownload Windows movie maker (windows live, but 2.7 XP version is also acceptable) I'm using windows 10 and the Photos program is VERY basic, its not a video editing software, its just a very generic program. the program not even letting me choose bitrate options because there's no such feature. limited options, can anyone here please guide me to do windows movie maker to download? I remember seeing somewhere on the internet where Microsoft removed the download page but its still on their servers so all I need to do locate the direct URL address, sadly I did not find it on google,

thanks in advance

(I did a reply below this main post, look there for some reason I cannot put links here)

my god I literally found it finally!   I'm putting the link here since seems like many people are also looking for this beautiful software

I used the US link in the answer, its works and malware free, but make sure you enable your adblocker. Dont click anything in that link just wait until you got the "wlsetup_all.exe" download pop up. I think it stands for "windows live setup". I also scanned the exe on virustotal and its 1/63 detection rate so its safe. Also mind you exe have Microsoft digital signature so its completely safe.

enjoy!

First, there is no "2.7 XP version". I think you are referring to the Windows Vista version of Windows Movie Maker 2.6 that is basically a CPU-only version using the XP code for those on Vista that didn't have a powerful enough GPU.

The version after that is Windows Movie Maker 6.0 which had both a 64-bit version and GPU rendering of effects and transitions.

As for the "Windows Live" version, the last version of that was Movie Maker 2012 (they dropped the "Live" branding). That's the one you found in the archive.
