Though I love both of them but Natalie Portman has always been my number one. Her bone structure is insane. Probably one of the most objectively perfect faces naturally. You will have to nitpick really hard to find a flaw. If Keira is a 10, Natalie is 100/10 for me.

I don't see how comparing women is any different from rating women. This sub is literally about discussing objective beauty, what makes someone attractive/unattractive, which celebrity looks better etc and men are compared all the time no one talks about that. Of course it's wrong to put someone down and call them ugly but so far no one in the comments has called Keira or Natalie ugly. Both of them are beautiful but objectively x is always going to be better than y but that doesn't matter much because once you are in the 8-10 range beauty gets subjective.
I think it would be better to compare them at a similar age and similar non over exposed lighting. Most of the photos of Natalie were taken when she was a teen, only one of Kiera's. At the same age, I think they were equally beautiful. Look up Keiras earlier movies such as The Hole, Bend it like Beckham, Pirates of the Caribbean and Love Actually
Keira peaked in Pride and Prejudice and Atonement. And I chose good pics for both of them.

She looks the same tbh and I don't think short hair flatters her. Also, many people say she looked the best in period dramas. I think Keira is objectively an 8 while Natalie is 9. Natalie has virtually no flaws and her facial harmony is excellent. Keira is gorgeous too but her teeth are crooked and kind of big and she has a protruding jaw. Still extremely gorgeous and those flaws make her more unique and interesting to look at.

Sorry OP, but while I often look at Natalie Portman from time to time, I have to say hands down Keira Knightley. Natalie is beautiful, but Keira's striking looks really stand out for me, especially her eyes.

I...both are equally hot. Natalie has girlish sex appeal while Kiera's femininity is more feline and regal (posh). I love watching Kiera's beauty in anything, she just looks so fancy and sparkly. In real life Kiera would be intimidating unless she purposely dressed down to casual to downplay the posh thing. Her looks remind me of the supermodels with a fancy girl twist. She obviously looks her best self dressed to the nines or wearing ethereal, angelic looking things that show off her height and grace. She's not someone people expect to see in normal situations and frankly I don't think anyone would want to see her in normal circumstances being your regular person. She looks extraordinary, her personality is fun, energetic, intelligent and people like seeing her in extraordinary things in uncommon or downright fantasy situations which is why she's excelled at her job. Her looks work well with that medium. I think with Kiera her big sex appeal comes from her personality and intellect, both are huge and they process to people even through pictures right before her image does. She's one of those people where SHE registers first before her looks hit. That's a rare quality and one she likely leverages out of her height allowing that. Why would one make themselves small when you look like that?
Natalie wouldn't intimidate most people in the way Kiera would naturally, mostly because a lot of Kiera's intimidation comes from her height and coloring. Her height and looks require a certain precision to match , clothing does a lot to set a certain "tone" thus reception. Natalie: She looks traditionally "girly", "womanly" but her smaller frame still allowing to communicate girlishness and elegance ironically. There's an association with slimness providing elegance due to the restrained quality of clothing responding to their body. Audrey Hepburn as well as the ballet have done a great example of showing this. Sometimes, there's freshness to restraint. She's sexy out of having softer facial features (big eyes, pouty lips) while having that amplified because she's got some elegance, which is woefully not embraced by a majority in both media and real life. Elegance is such nice aspect of sex appeal that's often ignored but ultimately makes such a massive difference. Elegance/majesty is the quality that makes the "10s" a "10". A big example of this is Megan Fox vs. these two women and Monica Bellucci. You'll find the latter three rank highly and on a similar scale despite having a more typical/common coloring than Megan Fox who's celebrated for her higher contrast contributing to her beauty. Their personalities are doing a whole lot of work as to why people like them. Monica ventures a bit more to universal femininity because her looks have elegance but it's a secondary factor to her sex appeal from abundant glamour (and curves/softness). Natalie looks more approachable and accessible because her height normalizes her. Kiera's looks and height create automatic separation from most men from the get go. If Natalie had that she'd basically be Kiera because their looks outside of that difference are equivalent.
I get that's your subjective analysis but I slightly disagree, if we're going strictly by looks Natalie ranks much higher than Keira solely because of her amazing facial harmony. She has perfect doe eyes which gives her a soft and elegant look, her nose is ridiculously perfect and her lips are a gorgeous shape. She also has better forward growth, cheekbones and jaw. Keira is beautiful and sensual but she has big teeth and she seems to have an underbite which won't make her a 10 and facial harmony wise she's lower. And if you check out her photos, you'd find she looks best from certain angles. In her side profile her underbite is more visible and prominent. But with Natalie I've never seen a bad pic of her. Her face is very symmetric and harmonious but she doesn't have sex appeal which Keira has so I can see why she won't be everyone's type. But I just don't agree with you on that Natalie and Keira are equal, Natalie doesn't even need height or Keira's coloring because facially she's top tier.
I think we take perfection too seriously. I mean humanity is not supposed to be perfect. Who in real time is looking at those "flaws" in Kiera? Or would honestly notice them, I mean really. I practically eagle vision and I just focused on the "big picture". The final result not every single aspect of the equation. In the final math they're both on equal footing no matter how one slices it. The diffentiating factor is really that yes Natalie's looks in real life are less intimidating/alienating while Kiera's reception would be the same in real time despite her personality being the softer of the two women. Also maybe because I'm a woman, but yeah, I don't fringe all of a woman's overall beauty on just sex appeal. That's mostly a guy thing. Kiera doesn't have the full blown one Natalie does but that doesn't make her any less beautiful. I'm just going by impartiality here. You asked for who's objectively hotter and being honest they really are on equal footing. The one thing that men will rank Kiera down a bit slightly is because her height DOES create automatic separation from most except those that are above average height. Most men prefer to be the taller one in a companionship just like most women prefer to be the shorter one. With Kiera the men have to be equally pretty at least to register next to her which is why her counterparts in roles look specific (they're usually uncommonly handsome men). Natalie that doesn't happen because her height does make most men register and the looks of her counterparts in roles have displayed that. Most men will pick Natalie because her size does bring comfort plus she meets conventional femininity, so she won't read atypical anywhere; she's the expectation. Pleasant and great, but also comforting because of that as opposed to alarming. Whereas with Kiera, if you don't have the height the guy better have the looks or they'll BOTH seriously just look OFF because whether we want to admit it or not, her height contributes to a more pleasantly alarming/intimidating situation. In my head they create the same surprise when you tilt pay attention to the scales if you will.
