Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've never had a bad dinner at this Melman standard spot. It's convenient for anyone on the North Shore, and the selection of entrees is always more than anyone could want. Service is always good, and the crowd is upscale.

Brought our dear dear friends here for their farewell party before they move as we've had many fantastic moments here. Due to the pandemic, some of our favorites are not offered, but we tried what's available and found great dishes... For c19 safety, tables were...left vacant in between, and we felt comfortable dining in as it was too cold to sit outside that night. Our server Amanda was a delight* I Loved my BBQ Ribs, smoky and tons of flavor! The Pork chops were yummy with mushroom crust. Crab cake sandwich was also decent, and hubby liked the kale salad with Salmon. We enjoyed the delicious seasonal Pies, Peach and Cherry a la mode. Both excellent! Oh, don't forget their corn bread which is addictive, seriously.... Thoroughly enjoyable time, each visit - well done! Lettuce establishments do Not disappoint. Just make sure you let them know what you need, as they do care.More

A delcious meal on an incredibly snowy night was what we had. It was suprisingly hard to get there and park given the intense snowfall and the way it slowed our progress getting there and even parking. Once inside, we were taken to a great...spot in the restaurant, had great cocktails (I had a Manhattan) and then delicious dinners. My prime rib was one of the best I have had of late. We did not stay for dessert as we had a play to attend and didn’t even have coffee. The service was okay, even good. I guess that I was a bit disappointed as although the young man who was our server was pleasant, he really didn’t make the connection with us I might have expected and surprisingly, that affects my view of the restaurant.More

Well I could not of been more disappointed as I was last night. We had reservations it still had to wait 25 mins. Them got to our table took a good 10 mins before our waiter came around then just asked what we wanted to...drink besides water took our order 10 mins later our water came with the bed. But it was unusual that the waiter didn’t share his name so I asked and he SS piped back at me “What’s yours!” I was a little taken. He definitely did not want to spent anytime getting our order so after the drinks finally came we had to track him down to get our order for salad placed. Very slow getting food. After it arrived he was there Johnny on the spot wanting to take our order we didn’t even start the salad...so we ordered they never came to fill our water or take our dirty plates. We had to stop someone to get water. Then our food came and it was lukewarm at best. He didn’t come around to check until we were half done and it was everything ok and literally kept on moving pass the table. I would say they were understaffed all around from the front desk to the kitchen. I think when you spend over $200 you would expect the food to be hot when served. So think twice before you go here there are other great steakhouse/restaurant restaurant around. We won’t be goi g back. And when I told the manager he looked at me like oh so sorry. Really poor management as well.More

We celebrated a birthday on june 02 2022. Beginning of service was good and after our main course was served we were left unattended for aprox 30 minutes. No one checked on us for cocktails, refills or desert order. I asked for an intervention. The...manager shows up in a wrinkled and very relaxed outfit and instead coming with solutions and apologies for mishandling our birthday dinner starts asking questions with disbelieve in my complaint. I'm very sad because it was our favorite place in this neighborhood and service was always superb. Cherry on the cake was when our server presented our check, informed us that he waved the 3% covid surcharge. How generous is to wave the fee they collect with fully booked restaurant with no covid restrictions limitations or ppe requirements... tackyMore

This is a very nice restaurant with excellent servers. Why the Lettuce Entertain You management thought it was a good idea to sneak a 3% extra charge onto the check (to ostensibly cover the credit card fee) is beyond me. This breaks the bond between...loyal customer and restaurant management. Stay away from Lettuce Entertain you Restaurants until management eliminates this heinous practice.More

We are generally big fans of Wildfire, and “Lettuce” restaurants as a whole, but after a Wildfire dinner last week, one of our party was violently ill the next day, which we are pretty sure can be traced to the Caesar salad she ate. Somebody...the kitchen was not sufficiently careful with lettuce hygiene (or something). We will continue to patronize Lettuce restaurants, but this Wildfire is off our list, at least for a while.More

Lunch menu is offered on the weekends, and a dinner menu is also suggested if we wanted something we did not see from the lunch options. Our waiter was FANTASTIC, he was helpful in suggesting meals for all of us. The Branzino was cooked and...prepared perfectly, Romanian Skirt Steak and Porterhouse Steak was ordered of the dinner menu and was cooked to our liking. Our server was one of the best we have had in a long time and made our lunch celebration memorable. We will definitely be going back because of service and the quality food Wildfire offers.More

This strip mall restaurant is consistently excellent. Casual, yet serious about its food, presentation and service, the restaurant is my go-to whenever I'm up in the North Shore suburbs. The au gratin potatoes and salmon on cedar board are to die for!

Amazing service and food! Party of 10, and Dominic handled us like a pro. Took our drink orders right away. Specials sounded amazing… many at the table ordered either the halibut or the steak medallion trio. Food arrived and it was hot and accurate. Desserts...were also very tasty - Keylime pie, cheesecake, chocolate cake, etc. Thanks again to Dominic for great service. Given all that’s going on with staffing and supply chain issues, it was just really enjoyable to have a nice business meal out. I will say that the restaurant was very crowded, but our experience was flawless. Well done!More

The New York Strip Steak is very flavorful and is my favorite dish on the menu. Chicken and Ribs combo is very good as well. Key Lime pie for desert is the move if you like Key Lime, the crust is very good on the...pie as well.More

I often have the Branzino and love it but this time it was all bones. Hardly any fish and all caught in fine bones. I don’t remember if this was a new way of preparing “whole” but it was terrible. Also Wikdfire needs to offer...more healthy side options, everyone of their side has either milk, cream or cheese in it except the grilled vegetable that are an awful selection of vegetable. Please get healthier options for free sides.More

We had a really nice dinner tonight. One of us had the prime rib and the other had the Monday special, Fried Chicken. The chicken was really good. Moist. Tasty. But what made the evening was our server, Myron. So welcoming. Eager to make sure...we had a great experience, which we did. Very accommodating of our requests.More

Took advantage of a beautiful summer evening to dine outside - not as far from the parking lot as we'd hoped, but they screen things off pretty well. Service was a bit slow on the night we visited, but the food, as always, was great....We also did pick-up another weekend night - VERY busy and hard to keep socially distanced.More

The room we had for 60 guests was beautifully lined with windows. Grace helped us organize the event and she was so sweet and accommodating. Stephen was the head server and attended to our every need. The staff worked so hard and were so pleasant....The food was amazing! We are never disappointed. The out of town guests were so impressed and complimented everything there. Truly a night to remember.More
