–Vitruvius as a ghost | ||
Vitruvius (also known as Vitruvius Ghost) was one of the two tritagonists (alongside Batman) of The LEGO Movie. He is voiced by Morgan Freeman. In the film, he taught Emmet how to be a Master Builder and fought against Lord Business.
Biography[]
The LEGO Movie[]
In the beginning of the film, he guards "the Kragle" from Lord Business, but failed and was blinded by Lord Business' laser. He warns Lord Business of "the Special". Later, he was hiding in The Old West as a piano player, and soon guided Emmet, Wyldstyle and Batman to Cloud Cuckoo Land, where they met Unikitty and Benny. After the place was destroyed by Bad Cop and his forces, the gang was rescued by MetalBeard and soon operated a plan to infiltrate the Octan Tower.
Later on, Vitruvius was decapitated by Lord Business with a penny. In his last dying words, he tells Emmet the prophecy is made up and dies before he can finish talking. Vitruvius returns as a ghost to tell Emmet, while strapped on a battery, that anything is possible as long as he believes.
Later on, after Emmet saves the universe, the Master Builders, including Ghost Vitruvius, celebrate Emmet's victory. Vitruvius then says, "I liked Emmet before it was cool."
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part[]
Vitruvius (as a ghost) made a short appearance at the Prologue of the movie. He was accidentally knocked away by MetalBeard as the DUPLO Invaders arrived to "destroy" them. He also appeared banging on the door when General Sweet Mayhem attacked Apocalypseburg.
Appearance[]
Vitruvius has white eyes and dark skin. He has white, long hair and a beard that is braided near the end. His white robe is open to reveal a tye-dye shirt and blue jeans. He also sports an orange headband. He is notably taller than the other minifigures as his legs are a brick. His magic staff is a chewed-up lollipop stick with a large green chunk still on it. He carries said chewed lollipop as a staff.
Personality[]
Very positive about the future. He can even see the future. He never holds doubts, and even believes in the lowest (such as when Emmet was not a master builder yet).

"One day a talented lass or fellow, a Special one with face of yellow, will make the Piece of Resistance found from its hiding refuge underground.
