We go to this park about once a month with our dog. They have a double dog park so they little ones can be in a separate area. There are two large playgrounds. One has a fence around it and geared towards younger kids while the larger one on the hill is for everyone. There are nice walking trails and I enjoy stomping around in the creek. There are playing fields and courts for most popular sports and even frisbee golf. All around great place to spend a few hours for free. I recommend grabbing something to eat on the way there since the recreation center with vending is closed most of the time because of Covid.

This is a very nice, very clean park with everything for outdoor fun. It has pavilions for reserve, baseball diamonds, basketball (indoor and outdoor), kids play area, good Frisbee golf course and an extensive hiking trail among other amenities. Overall a great place to get outdoors and have some fun.

Creekside has a great summer program and their park is well maintained. I didn't expect to find a gem like this in Archdale of all places. Keep up the good work!

This park is such a great place to visit. You see folks walking their dogs (they have bags and a trash can stationed around the trails to deposit pet waste), children playing on one of 2 playgrounds, families having picnics, a pickup basketball game, teams playing baseball, and beautiful scenery. The trails follow along a creek and are marked. And if you are really good with a frisbee, a course you can follow in the woods with setups for frisbee golf!. Great place to enjoy the great outdoors!

I have gone to this park nearly my whole life"I'm 38 atm" the park currently has a decent area for young children to play. I miss the way it was though in the 80s and 90s When it had the merry go round large swing set and the animals on spring that rock back and forth. The ball fields are really nice and the walking trails are relaxing. You can also ride a bike or play disk golf and there is also an orienteering course the scouts built

Thank you for taking the time to review our park. We are glad that you continue to enjoy Creekside. We understand that our playground equipment is aging. We just got a grant to replace both playgrounds. One will be an ADA compliant inclusive playground and the other will get some much needed replacements. Nothing beats nostalgia, but we hope kids find our new playgrounds to be exciting!

This was our first stop on a Sunday afternoon after a very long ride from Michigan. It's a beautiful setting with very nice walking paths: just what we needed to stretch our legs. Although there was a "you are here" map/sign, the paths themselves are not well marked for someone unfamiliar with the area. We first turned back when the path under the road emptied into a neighborhood street. Turning back & reviewing the sign, we discovered it would've continued much farther but there were no markers. Along another path & into another neighborhood, we decided to continue but alas, no loop or other entrance back, so we had to backtrack quite a ways that time. Despite the poorly marked paths, we met some nice folks along the way, even though we usually had to initiate.

We are happy to hear that you took advantage of our trail system. We are looking into getting a sign for the trail under the bridge that lets visitors know the trail continues. We hope you stop by again.

I was wondering if you need a permit to use the pavilions for a cookout
