Hi,

  • What is the result of “Method 1”?
  • Did you try the steps provided in the reference articles?

To fix the issue with “Black bars”, Change-your-screen-resolution and check; and also make sure that the monitor is set to wide screen display.

In mean time, to fix the issue with Blue screen effect, try the steps mentioned below and check after each step:

Start the computer in Safe mode and try “System Restore”, to uninstall graphics driver:

a)      Start your computer in “Safe mode”

b)      Perform System Restore:

Restore system files and settings

System Restore helps the system to return to a previous state – when your computer was functioning correctly. It can also change Internet Explorer settings, scripts, batch files, and other kinds of executable files on your computer.

Note: System Restore does not affect personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos.

Hope it helps.

it is certainly a driver issue.  Instead of downloading the drivers manually, you might look in Windows Update to see if there are any drivers it has automatically identified for you.
