Nicole Threatt, also known as Nicole Young, was actually born as Nicole Kendra Plotzker on 1 January 1970, in the USA. The surname Threatt is from her first marriage, while Young is from her second one. The actual place of her birth has not been revealed to public. Her nationality is American and going by her physical appearance her ethnicity is apparently mixed. Details regarding her family and their background are also not known to the media, as well as details about her childhood years.

Who is Dr. Dre

Andre Romelle Young, better known as Dr. Dre, was born on the 18 February 1965, in Compton, California USA, to Verna and Theodore Young, of African-American descent. His parents divorced in the early ‘70s, and he was raised mostly by his mother who subsequently remarried and had three more children, and then married again and had four more children, one of them being the famous rapper Warren G.

As his family moved across Los Angeles numerous times, and also due to his misbehavior, Dr. Dre attended several schools, including Vanguard Junior High School and Roosevelt Junior High School in Compton, and Fremont High School in South Central Los Angeles. According to Dr. Dre, he was actually mostly raised by his grandmother.

He started his career in the early ‘80s as a hip hop DJ, working as part of the group World Class Wreckin’ Cru at LA clubs. He then began to collaborate with rappers Easy-E and Ice Cube, and the trio founded N.W.A. The group had significant success, enabling Dr. Dre to eventually start a solo career in the early ‘90s. In 1992 he co-founded a record label called Death Row Records with Marion ‘Suge’ Knight, and released his debut solo album, entitled “The Chronic”, which brought him huge popularity, and his first Grammy Award for the single “Let Me Ride”.

In 1996 he left Death Row and founded Aftermath Entertainment, releasing his second album three years later, entitled “2001”, which produced the huge hit “Forgot About Dre”, another Grammy-winning single. In the meantime, he earned considerable respect for his work as a producer for other rappers, such as Snoop Dogg and Eminem, winning three more Grammys for his work with Eminem.  He continued with success after success in his producing career, collaborating with and being the mastermind behind high-profile performers such as Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Eve and Jay-Z. His own third album entitled “Compton” came out in 2015.

Besides his work as a rapper and producer, Dr. Dre has also been involved in the film industry.

He made his first film appearance in 1996, taking a role as a weapons dealer in “Set It Off”. He also appeared in the 2001 films “The Wash” and “Training Day”. In 2015, Dr. Dre produced a biographical film with rapper Ice Cube, entitled “Straight Outta Compton”.

Dr, Dre has found success as a businessman as well. Along with the music executive Jimmy Iovine, in 2008 he created his own brand of headphones. The highly popular and successful brand called Beats by Dr. Dre, sells headphones, earphones and speakers, among other items. In 2014 they established a music-streaming service Beats Music.

The collaboration between the two resulted in a great philanthropic venture, as they donated a $70 million endowment to the University of Southern California in 2013, with the aim of creating the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation. In 2017, Dr. Dre committed a $10 million donation to Compton High School, for the construction of its performing arts center. As the wife of the great rapper, producer, businessman, actor and philanthropist, Threatt has achieved enormous popularity through her marriage to Dr. Dre.
