I’m 6’4 even and just got back from the Netherlands. Before my flight I was the tallest person on the plane ride. When I got to the airport there I saw a guy who was at least 6’7 coming off the gate. As soon as I left and got to my hostel I decided to walk around. Holy shit everyone was 6’5. Like I’ve never in my life felt so average. The tallest person I saw was 7’4. Why is tall so common there?!

Swedes seem to have 50-60% of it which could explain why so many native swedes are tall aswell
I heard of Herzegovina has the tallest people averagely in the world. Especially young boys, I heard of every class has a few of 6'7+ boys at high schools in Herzegovina areas.

The best thing is Dutch walk down street is not the tallest group. If you go to local high schools/colleges in the Netherlands, those native students are even much taller than off campus. WTF!!! Those young kids are giants! I have a classmate is from the Netherlands and just graduated from his high school there. He is 190 cm+(more than 6'3) and the second shortest guy at his class.Damn, he is already one of the tallest at my class. And he told me every class has several 6'7 guys when he went to high school. 190 cm is definently short side at schools there.......
It's due to a long process of women actively preferring and marrying to tall guys. Tall guys in the Netherlands traditionally have had more kids than shorter ones. It's a classic example of women successfully practicing eugenics. Now that's the main reason. You may also add that their diet is based on dairy and meat on top of that and there you have your full explanation
Also, when the ice caps melt and the entire country goes underwater, they'll be easy for rescue boats and helicopters to spot
They won't even need rescue boats, everyone's so tall thell just put on wetsuits and walk around with their head above water.

Because they have no hills. So evolution has made them taller so they can see further, as they have no natural vantage points.

Any Dutch can talk about Dutch young men's height. Espeically kids born after 2000, I heard of 50% of young native Dutch boys are 190cm +? And 200 cm is much more common than older generation?
