DOYLESTOWN, PA — Democrat Noni West is poised to become the winner in the race for Doylestown mayor, as results continue to be tabulated in Bucks County.

West ran against Republican Sean McVan, and Independent Tom Lingenfelter.

West, who has served on the Doylestown Borough Council for more than 12 years, is campaigning to keep Doylestown safe and a hub of business.

"The COVID pandemic has created enormous challenges for the businesses, institutions, and residents of Doylestown Borough. Doylestown needs and deserves a Mayor with the experience I can draw on from my very first moment on the job," she said.

McVan has served as a member of the Bucks County Republican Committee.

Lingenfelter, President of the Heritage Collector's Society, has ran for other positions in the past as a Democrat and a Republican.
