Doylestown Area Election Results

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Democrats in the Doylestown area had a solid showing during Tuesday's election, winning the majority of seats for local office.

In Doylestown Borough, Democrats there won five out of six seats for Council. Democrat Michelle Crunkleton was also elected as Doylestown Borough tax collector. Mayor Ron Strouse, a Democrat, was reelected in an uncontested race.

In Doylestown Township, the two open seats on the Board of Supervisors were split between the parties: Democrat Jennifer Herring and Republican Ryan Manion were elected. However, both the seat for tax collector and the 6-year auditor term went to Democrats.

In Warrington, two seats on the Board of Supervisors, the tax collector and the auditor went to Democrats.

The outlier was Buckingham Township, where Republicans won a seat on the Board of Supervisors, as well as tax collector and auditor.
