Hero Overview

Diana Prince/Wonder Woman is one of the main protagonists (alongside Batgirl, Jessica Cruz, Supergirl, Bumblebee, and Zatanna) of the Cartoon Network Show DC Super Hero Girls Reboot series.

She is the female superhero, and the leader of the Super Hero Girls.

She was voiced by Grey Griffin. In the Japanese version of the game, she was voiced by Haruka Tomatsu.

Biography[]

Past[]

Diana Prince was a (comparatively) young Amazon warrior princess; during her childhood, she was made to study every scroll in Themyscria as her mother, Hippolyta the Queen, wanted her to well-studied as well as being a capable warrior. After 317 years, she decided that she wanted to explore the World of Man. Hippolyta forbade her from leaving, deeming it too dangerous for such a "girl," Diana however, wasn't dissuaded, she entered and won the tournament for the privilege to leave. With ceremonial Amazonian armour, then departed to the outside world, eventually arriving in Metropolis.

TV Series[]

Diana of Themyscira, Princess of Amazons, daughter of Queen Hippolyta, is a 317-year-old Amazonian demigoddess, but is no older in mortal years than a human teenager at the age of 17. Born on Paradise Island, she is a (valedictorian) student at Metropolis High School, where she feels awkwardly out of place. After a fight with a fellow student, Diana discovered there were more heroines attending her school. Diana and her five new friends founded a super-team that she became leader of.

Appearance[]

Diana is a young and beautiful, tan-skinned Amazonian demigod with a slender yet athletic hourglass figure and classic-length, wavily-styled navy-blue hair with lighter-colored streaks. She also sport thick brows which are black in color and sky-blue eyes with short yet fairly thick lashes protruding from them, and her makeup consists of lightly-placed blush on her cheeks and fuchsia-pink lipstick on her lips. She is arguably the tallest out of the team.

As a civilian, Diana kept her hair in a low-loose ponytail with an accessorized golden headband on her head. Her attire consists of a set of star-shaped Alabama-red earrings, an Alabama-red mid-quarter-sleeved sweater over a similar-length, white swan-necked shirt, a high-waisted blue denim skirt with a darker-colored waistband, white calf-length socks and a pair of flats which is the same color as her earrings and sweater.

As Wonder Woman, her freely-styled loose hair is held back by a golden tiara with an Alabama-red star on the front. Her superhero costume consists of a set of earrings similar to the ones she wears on her civilian attire (albeit larger in size), and an Alabama-red corset that is decorated with gold in the upper part, along with golden shoulder-pads placed on the straps and a large golden belt around her waist. She also wore a blue skirt with white stars all over it, and Alabama-red knee-high boots with white stripes going down from the top, along with knee-pads placed on them which sport the same design as her shoulder-pads.

Personality[]

Wonder Woman is a compassionate caring, stubborn, opinionated, highly competitive, outgoing, immortal Amazon. Wonder Woman is a warrior born. She tries to avoid conflict but if pressed she will engage in battle and on occasion lose herself in the pleasure of battle. Despite enjoying the fight, when the danger is serious, she is a natural leader who can usually swiftly think of individual strategies for each of her team to follow.

She is highly intelligent, being able to excel at every school subject. However, she tends to struggle with some "modern world," conveniences, as it takes her a long time to figure out how to use a mobile phone, after which she doesn't understand contemporary speech shortcuts like abbreviations and emojis. Similarly, she struggles with computers.

Despite being highly disciplined, she is liable to lose control in regards to elements that she never experienced when grounded in Themyscria. The first boy she ever meets is Steve Trevor, is friendly and vaguely handsome but exceptionally unexceptional, however, from having no exposure to boys, meeting Steve left her infatuated; whenever she sees him, she becomes a mumbling, bumbling mess, unable to achieve any task that she usually tackles with ease. She also loses control for certain foods, especially sweets; during a pie eating contest, she went into frenzy, devouring pies ever after the contest had ended.

Trivia[]

  • She is an adept stage actor (unless Steve is her scene partner)
