Everyday had to request essentials forgotten by housekeeping. Service at bar slow and unpleasant. Shuttle service abandoned picking me up from convention. Service personnel know that during conventions, travelers are stuck with sold out hotels, so service is lacking. Will not stay here again.

Dear davidaJ483VB, Thank you for taking the time to share a review of your experience at our hotel. I had a chance to read your comments, and I was disappointed to hear about the problems with various teams that you encountered when you stayed with us. I know that does not change your experience, but I hope that you can feel confident that I am researching every element of your comments with our various team managers to make sure I get to the bottom of the incidents you mentioned and make sure these issues do not continue to happen in the future. I hope that you will give us a chance to show you the actual level of quality service of that I know we are capable. But, if nothing else, I want to thank you again for your visit and your feedback. Warm regards, Doug Vandenberg, General Manager

I stayed here for business. Check in was slow, staff was nice and remodeled rooms still were not up to standard. The room was dirty. A candy wrapper was under the table next to the bed on check in and remained through my stay. The bathroom had dirt in the corners and smelled musty. My business partner walked into the room and also commented on the musty smell in bathroom and in her room.

Currently staying at the above hotel. Great location and living space away from the buzz of Broadway. However the management of the hotel allow the buzz to come to them . I have endured for the last 3 hours what can only be described as loud and at times intimidating behaviour in the lobby bar. So much so that we didn't take advantage of it.Now don't get me wrong. I love a a great bar environment and have enjoyed this on many occasions but wouldn't feel comfortable doing so in a public hotel lobby . So when I called hotel reception to discuss the above I was told that this is to be expected on a Friday night . On telling them that this was unacceptable, I was offered a free breakfast to buy my silence. ...Really !!!! Sheraton ,you need to discuss this at your next customer service team meeting . Absolutely disappointed in the behaviour and the response to the complaint.

Dear Stevie, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at our hotel. I am extremely sorry to read that your visit did not live up to your expectations. A bachelor party did get a bit rowdy at the bar the night you are referencing, and was politely asked to leave. While bars on a Friday night may be louder than usual, it is most disappointing to read that my staff was not able to provide you with better service when you reached out to them. The genuine care and comfort of our guests is our highest priority and I sincerely apologize for this. Regrettably, I can't change what you experienced, but I will definitely follow up with the bar and front desk staff to make sure we handle situations like this better in the future. Please reach out to me directly if you would like to discuss your experience further. Sincerely, Doug Vandenberg, General Manager

Came to Nashville on an overnight business meeting and needed to be close to the capital. The room they put me in looked out towards the capital and was really nice. I really liked the little southern touches in the room (what would dolly do and the cool bathroom lamps). The front desk was very courteous and even called to check on me after I accidently blew the fuse with my hair straightener (sorry!!!!!!)

Hotel was nice and great location. Staff experience varies. Off note, outside valets and my cleaning lady were awesome! Friendly, attentive, and you could tell they were happy to be there, which makes all the difference to the customer. All valets would give great advice of places to go, were quick to get your car or a cab, and smiled the whole time. My cleaning maid, Jackie...top notch!!! I travel often and my room was the cleanest out of the many hotels I have stayed at. Once more she was friendly, efficient, and didn't look miserable or unhappy while she went about her business. Attention to detail was tops!!! Valets and Jackie actually made my stay extremely enjoyable....funny how the simple things make such an impact and I wish more hotels had staff like that!

Have to give kudos to shuttle driver "Charles" who got us to the honky tonks and back again safe and sound. Hotel was fabulous, clean, updated, good wifi. Excellent customer service from front desk, bellman and valet. Room was immaculate, Floor 11 had good views without paying for the "club" level. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown while visiting Nashville to see the Rolling Stones. This is the first time I've stayed here since they remodeled and the decor is gorgeous. The rooms are well-decorated and comfortable. The lounge and Speakers Bistro had great food and great service. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The staff was professional and responsive. Two members of the staff deserve special mention for their world-class customer service - Jeremy and Leslieann- they made an amazing stay even better!

Every time I visit Nashville I always stay at the downtown sheraton. It is a beautiful hotel. I'd talk about the lobby as you walk in but the pictures people have posted can speak better than me. This hotel is in a perfect spot if you want to walk everywhere. They have a direct shuttle from the airport to the hotel as well. The rooms are amazing but for an amazing hotel as this sadly the bathrooms in the rooms are just standard. But the views are amazing. It's only about a 10 minute walk if that to Broadway also. I always recommend this hotel to my friends.

I was here during the Country Music Awards festival when the entire town was crawling with people. I had a room on the Club Level, which provided a wonderful, complimentary breakfast in the morning, and then again cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the evening.

The first night there the first thing that came to my mind was that the hotel was completely unprepared for the music festival. I mean, it only happens once a year and has been going on for the last half a century or so, and the event should come as no surprise. The evening cocktail time was PACKED with people and they only had one staff person trying to deal with it all. The poor young lady was working very hard to try to please everybody and it seemed her cries for help were unanswered. We all felt so sorry for her as she was obviously overwhelmed. The guests were busing their own dirty dishes and offering assistance. Disgraceful. Not disgraceful of the guests or the single person trying to deal with it all, but disgraceful that management did not dispatch help or anticipate this.

The next morning was no better. Again, breakfast was PACKED with people. I could not believe so many people had a "club floor" room. Neither did the hotel management. Management finally got smart after a couple days of insanity and assigned a "bouncer system" at the door to make sure only those who truly had club floor access entered. It was much better (and less crowded) after that. Gee, go figure.

I could not help but notice that after the young lady single-handedly managed a mob scene in the club lounge the first couple nights there (and hopefully, had a night off), it took THREE MEN to do the job of ONE WOMAN in her absence -- and it was not as crowded as it had been for her do deal with on her own. Attention Young Lady in the club lounge: You are under appreciated and I'm also betting underpaid.

Off that.... the room was ok. The bed? Extremely comfortable. The temperature? It seemed like it could never get cool enough. Windows could not be opened for a bit of fresh air (pet peeve of mine).

Bathroom had no ventilation and not a lot of counter space. It would have been nice to have shelves under the sink area to store toiletries. Instead, there was a chunk of solid cabinet wood. There was space there to install under sink shelves, but they did not do it.

The sink itself was one of those with a large, square, flat base that I guess it trendy but it is totally impractical and sucks up whatever valuable, precious counter space there is. I ended up using the sink basin itself for additional counter space.

The staff was very, VERY friendly. I'm just a little disappointed in the way the hotel is managed.

My daughter & I stayed for two nights this June. We went to Nashville to check it out as a possible relocation home. The hotel is newly renovated & looks great, the location is walking distance to many attractions but just enough off the beaten track so it's quiet & the rooms comfortable for two. But the best thing about the hotel are the valets! They triple duty as car valets, luggage porters, & concierges. They were so helpful in so many ways from helping with all our "stuff" including a pet hedgehog, making recommendations for places to go & eat, and giving my daughter possible job connections. Even though we thoroughly enjoyed talking to them the hotel does need a concierge & not having one is the main reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars. Next time we're in Nashville, this is where we will stay.

There is also a golf cart from that hotel that takes you to the popular places downtown and back, a nice feature from noon to midnight for some. Reservations required.
