Great hotel experience except for late check in and over priced Parking. Room was still not ready at 3:00 p.m. check in time. However, young male desk clerk got me into my room at about 3:30 after 2 others had made minimal tries ... Don't count on any early check ins. ...And find a room at the Holiday Inn Express for your car... It'll be cheaper!!

Arrived at 9pm & used priceline express deal choosing a 4 star AOA hotel & got this hotel for $70 for the night, (wouldnt pay the $2-300 a night for it for sure) The hotel is really clean with lots of bling & glass lifts. I too found the plain concrete walls a bit off putting, but seems to be in fashion the now. The room was nice, but disappointed with the pool, as no spa or changing or shower area so need to walk through hotel in towel to your room, so didn't use. The door staff gave us a courtesy shuttle down to 'Broadway' the lively bar area which is still within walking distance. The only gripe is the $30 overnight parking. Excellent for the money we paid.

The hotel is within walking distance of the main downtown attractions. The view was breathtaking. We were on the 22nd floor facing the Tennessee Capitol. The front desk staff was very kind and courteous. Chis allowed me to use his computer to print my tickets to the Bridgestone Arena. The cab fare to Bridgestone was only $6 for 2 people, I didn't want to walk. The hotel was sleek and modern. Our room was incredibly spacious. The view was just amazing; I know I mentioned that but it's worth saying again. TV monitor was large, plenty of device hook-ups. Bathroom was small but comfortable. The extras including tiled bath and Kohler sink were noted. We will definitely stay again.

First of all I'm so impressed with this city as option for a couples or girls wknd. The lively bars and clubs are great for all tastes and some great music to boot! This hotel did an amazing renovation and looks like a Meridien with the white back drop and European touches. The rooms are quite large and bright! Love the "blue suede" chair too and the sign "what would Dolly do". It's fun and fresh. The look down the atrium isn't for the faint of heart though. The hotel bar was open and busy with locals and hotel guests. I thought the southern hospitality was great and just warm and genuine. I like that the hotel is close to everything but not next to Broadway as it can be loud at night. I think the only thing that would have been better is if the hotel replaced the windows with a higher grade as there is so much construction in the city and will be for the next 10 yrs. You can't go wrong booking this hotel!

The lobby interior is awesome. The room was nice. Close to many sites and attractions. The only issue I could raise is the slowness of the elevators, however the view from the interior more than makes up for the slowness.
