Luke Evans talks to 2 women in Professor Marston and the Wonder Women.

The DCEU's Wonder Woman wasn't the only film released in 2017 about the iconic female superhero. In fact, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women also came out but went a totally different route as it didn't deliver an action-packed tale about Diana Prince.

Instead, it tells the story of William Moulton Marston (Luke Evans) who is the psychologist that actually created the character. Rebecca Hall has a key supporting role as Marston's wife Elizabeth. Most reviews on the movie seemed to praise it and point to the performances of the cast as a major reason why.

Maya Hansen threatens to inject herself in Iron Man 3

These days, it seems as if almost every actor has either already shown up in or is about to appear in the MCU. Rebecca Hall joined that company with her role as Maya Hansen in Iron Man 3. At first, the geneticist seems like an innocent character but she proves to be working with the villain, Aldrich Killian.

Iron Man 3 sees Tony Stark dealing with PTSD from the events of The Avengers as he takes on a terrorist known as the Mandarin, all while not really having access to his trusty suits. Some fans were upset with the twists the film opted for, though reception was strong for the set pieces and charisma of the actors.

Rebecca Hall in The Prestige

It's clear that The Prestige marked the breakout role for Rebecca Hall and it is apparently still the greatest thing she has been part of. The Christopher Nolan film focuses on the rivalry between two magicians who used to be friends and the way that this feud changes their lives dramatically.

Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale were great as the lead characters but the supporting cast is just as good. Rebecca Hall plays Sarah Borden (wife of Bale's character) and she goes through some harrowing things while trying to deal with her husband's growing ego and the secrets that he keeps.
