Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours' Susan and Karl Kennedy clash on UK screens next week, as Susan makes the decision to work with Olivia Bell on her new book.

A seemingly remorseful Olivia returns to Erinsborough this week, hoping to convince the Kennedys to become involved in her new and more truthful version of her book on Finn Kelly.

This request ends up threatening to divide the Kennedys, as they have opposing views on the matter.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Karl (Alan Fletcher) grows concerned after seeing that Susan (Jackie Woodburne) has been revisiting Olivia's (Alyce Platt) first book and making notes. He believes Susan shouldn't be considering Olivia's offer.

Susan, on the other hand, is giving Olivia's request serious thought. To her, this is an opportunity to set the record straight, given how much the first book affected their lives and reputation.

But Karl describes Olivia as untrustworthy, while also suggesting that reliving the traumatic memories about Finn may negatively affect Susan's mental health.

Susan later decides to become part of Olivia's more truthful version of the book, leaving Karl stunned. Karl strongly urges Susan to change her mind, but she is adamant that it's the right decision for her.

Tension rises between the couple, before Karl reluctantly agrees to support Susan. That doesn't stop him from being concerned about the situation, particularly as he still does not trust Olivia.

The storyline will eventually see Rob Mills briefly reprise the role of Finn, as Susan begins to visualise the killer while trying to resolve unanswered questions.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, March 23, Wednesday, March 24, and Thursday, March 25 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
