When the streaming service launched back in November 2019, Disney Plus did fans a great favor when they announced future release dates for 77 of their recent films. Since then, titles such as Cool Runnings have released as scheduled, building trust and fulfilling subscribers’ expectations.

Yet for hundreds of Disney-owned films and shows, no such information has been released. After over 90 years of Disney, ABC and 20th Century Studios history, a wealth of family-friendly titles remain hidden away in the Disney Vault along with acquired properties such as The Muppets and National Geographic.

Clearly it will take several years for so many legacy titles to be rolled out to Disney Plus. This list simply provides an idea of the scope of what’s missing — excluding R-rated or TV-MA titles, per Disney Plus policies.

Importantly, a small percentage of titles below are contracted out to other streaming services. See this separate article for estimates on when those contracts expire. Note that most titles below are not streaming on another service.

When Disney+ release dates are announced for legacy films and series, titles are moved to the first category below and no longer regarded as “missing.” Perhaps this list will help as fans give feedback regarding missing Disney Plus titles.

This list has nine categories:

  • Legacy Films And Series Announced for Release on Disney+
  • Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)
  • Walt Disney Pictures and Theatrical Disney Releases
  • Touchstone Pictures (Select Titles)
  • Hollywood Pictures (Select Titles)
  • The Wonderful World of Disney And Other Disney-Owned TV Films
  • 20th Century Studios And Affiliated Labels (Select Titles)
  • Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services
  • Often-Requested Titles With U.S. Rights Not Owned By Disney

Films and shows are listed chronologically, except to keep franchises/sequels listed together. A few titles (i.e. Song of the South) are unlikely to ever release due to offensive, outdated cultural depictions but are listed for informational purposes.

Thanks to fellow fans who post in the unofficial fan-led Disney Plus Facebook group, as this list reflects titles others have flagged. This list does not currently track shorts or internationally produced films. There are also some titles that are available in other countries, but not in all (this list reflects U.S. availability). Corrections and suggestions are welcome, comment below.

Thank you for putting those up. I subscribed because Disney said the vault was wide open. It certainly is not. I want to see the old shows of my childhood, Zorro, Elfego Baca, all the Davy Crocketts, Toby Tyler, happiest Millionaire, Summer Magic and many more. Where are they? if they don’t come up soon, I will definitely Cancel my subscription. Since Disney Plus started in November, none of the other old movies have been added. I’m not happy with this...instead we get Diary of a future president...oh please.

They said the animated vault I believe. Not the entire Disney library right up.

That’s been my question since this started...if all the old Disney Classics and Wonderful World of Disney would be available. You just saved me from disappointment. Thank you.

Hoopla is a free streaming service available through most public libraries. They have Zorro, In Search of the Castaways, and a lot of the older live action movies.

I wholeheartedly agree with you Raymond. Mini that you've mentioned are ones that I would dearly love to see also again. I can't believe personally they only had the very first week of the original Mickey Mouse club available. Want to see those other episodes from that series again.

  4. Connor Beith January 21, 2020

    1. samantha romo October 3, 2020

      bohemian rhapsody is missing too

  5. Xanity Plus January 21, 2020

Not sure but I believe all the DreamWorks titles produced in the Touchstone partnership are owned by Disney domestically and globally.

    1. Ernesto Chacon January 21, 2020

Exactly, the DreamWorks movies they distributed through the Touchstone Pictures banner from 2011-2016 such as Real Steel, The Help, I Am Number Four, War Horse, Lincoln, to name a few are owned by Disney. So those films (depending on rating) will go to Disney+ or Hulu.

  6. Todd January 21, 2020

Don’t forget about the Aladdin TV Series

  7. Adam Sweeney January 21, 2020

One movie I can’t find on Disney + that I didn’t see on the list is The Barefoot Executive starring Kurt Russell (1971). Other than that, it’s a fine list. A lot of things listed that I had forgotten about. Thanks for doing the compiling.

    1. Kannan June 22, 2020

Missing some episodes like Ged ed,shuriken school, pucca,w.i.t.c.h,Martin mystery, goosebumps, the spider man (1994),Vicky & vedal (Indian show),galactic football,Denice the menace, inspector gadget animated series,A.T.O.M ,monster warriors, kid Vs kat

      1. Harry December 12, 2020

Most of these aren’t even owned by Disney.

  8. John January 21, 2020

Make Mine Music is missing, and it's the only music based "compilation" movie not on Disney+. Also, there are 5(!) episodes of the original MMC, with NO additions since the launch! C'mon, Disney, eliminate a few thousand items from this list!

    1. Anthony Bernacchi March 10, 2020

Not only are only the first five "Mickey Mouse Club" episodes included, but episodes 3 and 5 are missing their Mousekartoons, "Mickey's Service Station" and "Two-Gun Mickey", which are also unavailable on Disney+ in their own right.

    2. Bryce May 3, 2020

Ant man and the wasp Avengers infinity war

    3. Sierra August 25, 2020

Yes, you are missing Slugterra (Disney XD, 2012-2016, 6 seasons)

  9. Ernesto Chacon January 21, 2020

Thanks for the list Josh although their are a couple of shows and films from the Disney and 20th Century side of things you missed and forgot to put in: - Wander over Yonder (Disney Channel/Disney XD, 2013-2016; 2 Seasons) - Penn Zero: Part Time Hero (2014-2017, 2 Seasons) - Malcolm in the Middle (2000-2006, 7 Seasons) - Robots (Blue Sky Studios film, 2005) - Horton Hears a Who! (2008) - Rio (2011) - Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011) (streaming rights held by HBO) - Modern Family (ABC, 2009-2020) - Fresh off the Boat (ABC, 2015-2020) - Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003, 7 Seasons) - Firefly (2002-2003, 1 Season) - Glee (2009-2015, 6 Seasons) - Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 (ABC, 2012-2013; 2 Seasons) Starring Krysten Ritter - Brandy & Mr. Whiskers (2004-2006, 2 Seasons) - The Buzz on Maggie (2005-2006, 1 Season) - Dave the Barbarian (2004-2005, 1 Season) - Bend it Like Beckham (2000) - Samantha Who? (ABC, 2007-2009) - Really Wild Animals from National Geographic (1993-1998, 26 Episodes) - Gnomeo and Juliet (2011) - When in Rome (2010) Also put in a section dedicated to Domestic Rights issues cause certain films and shows aren't owned by Disney and it's subsidiaries Domestically such as Popeye, Dragonslayer and Titanic. Finally, I would like to point out a couple of things Josh, certain PG-13 and TV-14 titles from Touchstone, 20th Century Studios (Film/Television) and ABC Studios might not appear on Disney+ and instead go to Hulu due to content not being suitable for the Disney+ service, such as Dead Poets Society, Armaggedon, Coyote Ugly, Signs, The Village, The Proposal, A Lot Like Love, Jumper, Wild Hogs, The Prestige, 24, The X-Files, Bones, NYPD Blue, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Revenge, Scandal, Castle, How to Get Way with Murder, among others. Even Family Guy and the rest of Seth MacFarlane's other animated shows (while TV-14) have been confirmed to stay on Hulu due to the inappropriate humor and content.

  10. A January 21, 2020

They do have Recess seasons 4-6, they just have them scrunched up and scrambled alongside seasons 1-3.

  11. drewsclues January 21, 2020

There are so many classic disney Channel shows not even mentioned like the Jersey, flash forward totally hoops, totally circus, bug juice, adventures on wonderland, Dumbo's circus, in a heartbeat, Jett Jackson, Jett Jackson movie, Susie q etc plus also galavant?!

    1. Annodal March 27, 2020

I can't believe that Jett Jackson isn't on Disney+, that should be a crime!! ?

  12. Robert OLin January 21, 2020

i dont see house of mouse, melody time, Dumbo's circus, Pooh corner

  13. Justin January 21, 2020

Pretty sure Muppet Family Christmas needs to be in that last category for the Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock characters which are not Disney owned. That's why it was never put on DVD.

    1. Ernesto Chacon January 26, 2020

Music Licensing is also another factor why this special hasn't been released on DVD/Blu-ray nor on Television.

      1. Nessa May 3, 2020

Roli poli olie, higgley town hero’s, Pb&j otter, bear in the big blue house, jojos circus, the doodle bops, pretty much all of the old Play house disney shows!

    2. Philip February 16, 2020

No, the only reason it hasn't been rereleased is because of music rights issues. Nothing else!

  14. Bill January 21, 2020

Another title that's missing from the broadcast TV listing is "Dateline: Disneyland", the live broadcast of Disneyland's opening on July 17,1955

  15. Craig B January 21, 2020

Thank you for writing this article. There are many like myself who think Disney held back too much content from Disney+ and that decision threatens the long-term viability of the service. I'm already seeing articles about how investors on Wall Street are looking to Netflix as a better bet going forward, concluding that while Disney+ is popular, it doesn't have enough broad-based content to truly compete. They say Netflix has a greater opportunity for market penetration in 2020. Essentially they think Disney won't be able to grow their subscriber count very much. That is some bad press for Disney and you see it reflected in how flat the stock price has been over the last month or so. Disney+ runs the risk of turning into something regarded as a novelty and if that happens it could be devastating to its future. Right now it's too easy for people to dismiss Disney+ as just for kids because of it's heavy reliance on Disney Channel content and lack of older titles from Disney, Touchstone and ABC. They need to step up their game. Originally we saw articles wondering if Disney+ would be a Netflix killer. Now we see articles saying Netflix has nothing to worry about. In some forums people are starting to say Disney+ has a lot for kids, but not much for adults. Personally, I don't think it's that bad but Disney does need to hold a lot less back, especially if that's the impression. The list you presented in the article of titles they've held back is long and people are starting to notice and complain. I'm glad this topic is finally starting to gain traction because I don't want Disney+ to fail. And if people think it can't fail, they're fooling themselves. I heard Disney needs at least 90 million US subscribers to be profitable. Right now they have around 20 million by some estimates. On February 4th they are supposed to disclose their number of subscribers. I hope they also seriously talk about plans for adding older content to Disney+ and don't just focus on their own originals. I like Baby Yoda and Jeff Goldblum, but they're not going to single-handedly sell the service.

  16. Jonathan Harriman Lhota January 21, 2020

I hope you add Raw Toonage (1992), Marsupilami (1993), The Jim Henson Hour (1989), and much more..... The Muppet Show (1976) might be an issue with music rights. Same with the Disney channel's DTV. I know that some DTV videos were pulled from Youtube for copyright infringement and many users were banned.

  17. Jamie January 21, 2020

How about Edward Scissorhands, the Planet Of The Apes films, Under The Umbrella Tree, Welcome To Pooh Corner, Howard The Duck

  18. Bill January 21, 2020

Another title that's missing from the broadcast TV listing is "Dateline: Disneyland", the live broadcast of the opening of Disneyland on July 17,1955.

  19. Jonathan Johnson January 22, 2020

Earth Star Voyager - Wonderful World of Disney

  20. Alex D. January 22, 2020

No one’s mentioned Kick Buttowski or Motorcity yet. And then you have the Fox Kids cartoons that Disney / Fox owns like Eek! the Cat or Mad Jack the Pirate.

    1. KB4L February 7, 2020

Yea, where the hell is KICK BUTTOWSKI!!!!!!

  21. Michelle Burk January 22, 2020

How can I add the bundle already to my subscription of Disney+ I pay 11.99 separately for Hulu no ads it would be easier to combine to one payment for Hulu ,Disney+ and ESPN+ I pay 6.99 for Disney+

  22. Jake January 22, 2020

Thank you for making this list! Howard, the documentary about the late Howard Ashman, has also yet to be added on Disney+. It was supposed to be included in late 2019 (or at least that's what I've seen in articles and the Disney+ YT channel). That was the only reason I've subscribed to the streaming service. Unfortunately, there are no blu-ray/digital copy editions of the movie, either.

  23. Jace January 23, 2020

There's also the Marvel animated Spectacular Spiderman show. Still waiting on the Aladdin TV series.

    1. Ernesto Chacon January 26, 2020

Unlike the other Spider-Man shows, Specacular Spider-Man and the MTV animated Spider-Man are owned by Sony Pictures Television and NOT by Marvel Animation.

  24. NEWCamaro January 25, 2020

All the 20th Century studios family-friendly movies and shows should be on D+ that aren’t on existing contracts

  25. Brian Holt January 25, 2020

You left out The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit from 1968

  26. Bradley Martin January 25, 2020

For the Love of Willadean Pooh Corner Dumbo’s Circus

  27. Steve January 25, 2020

I don’t see Mystery In Dracula’s Castle which I remember from Wonderful World of Disney.

  28. Todd January 26, 2020

Model Behavior starring Maggie Lawson, Justin Timberlake and Kathy Lee Gifford from WWoD

  29. Melissa January 26, 2020

You are missing “You Ruined My Life” it was a 1987 Wonderful World of Disney movie staring Paul Riser and Soleil Moon Frye.

  30. Jeff January 26, 2020

"LIttle Muppet Monsters" 13 episodes from 1985 "The Jim Henson Hour" 12 episodes from 1989 Get on this Disney + these 2 shows are brilliant!! WAITING!!! Also would love to see Dinosaurs, Fraggle Rock and The Muppet Show!

    1. Philip February 16, 2020

Disney does not own the rights to Fraggle Rock--that one is still owned by The Jim Henson Company.

  31. Todd January 26, 2020

Fantastic Four Rise of Silver Surfer is on D*

    1. Anthony Bernacchi March 10, 2020

"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" **was** on Disney+, but it's been removed.

    2. Philip April 10, 2020

      Not anymore

  32. Ernesto Chacon January 26, 2020

I'd also put "James and the Giant Peach" in the GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY section given that Disney doesn't have the full distribution rights to this movie in Europe (Mainly the UK, France and Germany) as it's distributed by Allied Filmmakers. Also don't forget Glee (20th Century TV, 2009-2015, 6 seasons).

    1. Jacob Nacilla November 20, 2020

It's distributed by 20th Century Fox in the UK.

      1. Ernesto Chacon November 22, 2020

But it's not on the Disney+ UK/Ireland section due to different distribution rights being owned by Allied Filmmakers (now Pathe).

  33. Micah L January 26, 2020

RUMOR: Disney and Dinamo Productions are beginning to bring a Kid Friendly TV show is Called The Lingo Show is Coming to Disney Channel and Disney Plus!

  34. DonDonP1 January 27, 2020

Several family-friendly MTM Enterprises productions--including "The Cape" and "Bailey Kipper's P.O.V.," both from the 1996-97 TV seasons--were missing from Disney Plus as well. I hope Disney would digitally restore and remaster "The Cape" in 4K Ultra High Definition, in 24 framers per second and in 7.1 surround sound with texts recreated in 4K Hi-Def and CGI recreations of lost and impossible-to-restore elements and with or without the possible re-frame from 4:3 to 16:9 and with or without the possibility of ending each episodes with the recreated final MTM logo and either the 20th Television or Disney-ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution logo afterwards.

  35. DonDonP1 January 27, 2020

*Frames. Darn typo. And from 35mm negatives.

  36. Ernesto Chacon January 27, 2020

Here are a couple of other 20th Century titles that could work on Disney+: Cocoon (1985), and The Boy Who Could Fly (1986). Princess Bride (1987) could go under the GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY section as 20th Century ONLY owns the domestic rights to the film but internationally it's owned by Interaccess Film Distribution.

  37. Carl January 27, 2020

The home alone movies were there during Christmas time

  38. Nicole January 31, 2020

Curious George and the Lindsay lohan movie ...Disney+ only has the sequel to the first movie..I forget what it’s callled

  39. Chris February 1, 2020

A Troll in Central Park by fox and Rolie Polie Olie you named the rest of the shows that I was missing.

      1. Kallis February 6, 2021

Anychance will we get Martin mystery, kid vs kat series in disney+.

  40. Renae February 7, 2020

It’s a shame Selma Lord Selma is not on Disney Plus. Especially with it being Black History Month!

  41. Xenia Franklin February 10, 2020

All Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior/Playhouse Disney shows aired need to be on Disney+

  42. Philip February 16, 2020

Add "The Mouse Factory" (1972-1973 TV series) to the list. Also, things like Song of the South are not "unlikely to appear". With existing content on the service containing warnings of outdated cultural depictions, NOTHING is off the table now, not even Song of the South!

  43. Kayla February 16, 2020

    Adventures in Wonderland

  44. Bruce February 29, 2020

Earth Star Voyager (1988) Under your Category: WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY AND OTHER DISNEY-OWNED BROADCAST TV FILMS

  45. Caleb March 3, 2020

Missing liv and Maddie (not available in the USA yet but available else where), sonny with a chance, so random

  46. Marshall March 8, 2020

The five episode Herbie tv series called “Herbie, The Love Bug” & the 1997 Wonderful World of Disney The Love Bug TV movie

  47. Joseph March 8, 2020

You can add Rolie Polie Olie to the often requested titles with global rights not owned by Disney. I see a lot of people request that show, despite the show being a Nelvana show, rather than a Disney show

    1. Joseph March 11, 2020

In all fairness though, I understand why a lot of people think Rolie Polie Olie was a Disney show, since the show was produced in association with them and it was produced for the Disney Channel in the USA along with CBC in Canada, plus Disney distributed the show in the US, so even though its a Nelvana show, I understand why people think its a Disney show

  48. Red March 8, 2020

Does the peanuts movie count because this peanuts film is made by 20th century fox.

  49. TheGreatOne March 8, 2020

Avengers Disk Wars and House of Mouse is currently missing on Disney+

    1. TheGreatOne March 8, 2020

Also Stitch! (The Japanese Spinoff of Lilo and Stitch!)

  50. Ernesto Chacon March 8, 2020

Can you please add in Modern Family (ABC, 2009-2020), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (20th Century TV, 1997-2003, 7 Seasons); Firefly (20th Century TV, 2002-2003, 1 Season) - Glee (20th Century TV, 2009-2015, 6 Seasons); Samantha Who? (ABC, 2007-2009); Gnomeo and Juliet (2011) and When in Rome (2010) from Touchstone Pictures to the list please?

    1. Jade2016 April 18, 2020

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is on Hulu which I partly owned by Disney.

      1. Ernesto Chacon May 5, 2020

They did sent out surveys to subscribers for Disney+ last month on the possibility on having in Buffy, How I Met Your Mother, Firefly, Modern Family, Black-ish and Malcolm in the Middle on the service.

  51. Ricardo March 8, 2020

Actually a troll in Central Park is fox

  52. Amber March 8, 2020

You are missing some Playhouse Disney shows such as JoJo's Circus, Stanley, Rolie Polie Olie and Higglytown Heroes.

  53. Adrienne March 9, 2020

Anyone remember Prince Brat and the Whipping Boy? 1994

    1. Annodal March 28, 2020

I do! I remember the kid who played the price also played an elf in The Santa Clause.

  54. Jacob March 9, 2020

Super Mario Bros.: The Movie is also missin. It's owned by Hollywood Pictures at least in the US.

  55. Jimmy D March 9, 2020

Forgot all the X-men movies. As well as Deadpool (they won’t add the R rated but they can do once upon a Deadpool which is PG13 plus the Spider-Man reboots homecoming & far from home

    1. Jon March 28, 2020

Sony own the last two Spider-Man movies.

  56. Daniel March 9, 2020

I suspect Disney plans to rotate shows in and out the vault to keep interest up in streaming service. Some films shows have dated content that would be seen as racist/homophobic etc. and most likely, they just won't be available I suspect. Much they way for years they would make a classic film available on VHS/CD/Blueray, then take off market, and then bring it back again in about 5 to 10 years.

  57. Luke Gregory March 9, 2020

PB&J Otter is also missing from Disney+. The show is about hit the 22nd anniversary and I’ve made a petition to make it available: http://chng.it/v8KqV2sB

  58. Lee March 9, 2020

Also missing from the list: Freaky Friday (1995) TV-movie starring Shelley Long

  59. Miguel Moreno March 10, 2020

Super Mario Bros. should be on there. It's from Hollywood Pictures as well.

  60. Anthony Bernacchi March 10, 2020

I was shocked to see online that Disney+ included "White Wilderness" at launch, but that it's since been removed. Given that film's inclusion of the infamous faked "lemming suicide" sequence, I would have expected Disney+ never to include it at all, much like "Song of the South". I suspect that it was included by mistake in the first place.

  61. Luke Gregory March 12, 2020

PB&J Otter is also missing. I have a petition to make it available on Disney+: http://chng.it/v8KqV2sB

  62. Briana casino March 14, 2020

Please put the sandlot back on !!!!!!

  63. Joseph St Pierre March 17, 2020

I would like some of the Hulu content on Disney+ like the Orville.

  64. S Bell March 17, 2020

I’m hoping more Wonderful World of Disney shows like “Secret of Boyne Castle” are added to Disney+.

  65. Anne March 24, 2020

Around the World in 80 Days (the 2004 one starring Jackie Chan) isn't on the UK Disney+, that is possibly due to distribution rights.

  66. AggressivePacifist March 24, 2020

Some individual episodes are missing like DuckTales: Sphinx for the Memories.

  67. David Torres March 25, 2020

Moesha, the series starring brandy Norwood is missing too.

    1. Josh April 5, 2020

That's a CBS-distributed show rather than Disney owned, it appears.

  68. Annodal March 27, 2020

Bejeweled - a made for TV movie from the early 90's Kids Incorporated - similar to the likes of Mickey Mouse Club, looks like it started on a different network but Disney took it over, Fergie and Jennifer Love Hewitt were in it

  69. Nicholas roberts March 29, 2020

They are 400 movies and tv shows not on Disney + any plans for them to come to Disney + yerys to come

  71. Ernesto Chacon April 7, 2020

Just to Clarify, 20th Century Studios still owns the rights to A Troll in Central Park along with Thumbelina, besides Warner Bros. doesn't own the rights to this movie anymore so put this in the 20th Century Studios section. Also, please add Modern Family (ABC, 2009-2020), Buffy, the Vampire Slayer (20th Century TV, 1997-2003, 7 Seasons); 8 Simple Rules (ABC, 2002-2005, 3 seasons); Glee (20th Century TV, 2009-2015, 6 Seasons); Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 (ABC, 2012-2013; 2 Seasons); New Girl (20th Century TV, 2011-2018, 7 seasons); and Wander Over Yonder (2013-2016) to the "LIVE-ACTION AND ANIMATED TV SERIES (DISNEY LEGACY AND SELECT ABC TITLES)" Lastly please include The Wind in the Willows (1996 film; aka Mr. Toad's Wild Ride) and Popeye (starring Robin Williams) to the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY" as the former film is distributed by Disney in the United States but not in other countries as the 1996 version of Wind in the Willows is owned by Allied Filmmakers, while the latter film is distributed internationally by Disney but owned by Paramount in the United States. I'd also like to have you put down Valiant and James and the Giant Peach under the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY" cause Disney doesn't have the rights to these particular films in certain international markets such as the United Kingdom, even they aren't on the UK/Ireland version of Disney+.

  72. Bill April 7, 2020

All of these titles could easily be released in English-speaking countries first and then be dubbed and sub-titled for foreign countries. But the question is how many people would be interested in them? Especially in uncertain economic times like these that expense has to be taken into consideration. I think right now Disney just does not feel that a substantial audience exists for many of these titles.

    1. Charlie April 8, 2020

True but there is no harm adding them, because they already own and have access to them

  73. Kelly April 7, 2020

I miss a lot of the shorts with Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Goofy & Chip & Dale. Definitely need more Muppets and the older show Kids Incorporated. I used to watch that every day!

  74. RED April 7, 2020

There's one show on the list you might forget so far is FOX/Marvel The Gifted. Which was on FOX at the time. So is it possible to add on Disney+ or is it on another steaming service?

    1. Jon Mani April 17, 2020

It is currently on Hulu and likely through Fox TV network's (not Disney owned 20th Century Fox Television production and distribution studios) online streaming distribution partnership with Hulu. Once the Hulu streaming rights expire, I think it would go on Disney+

  75. Trevor April 8, 2020

Just requested the Parent Trap Sequels to be added. If anyone else loved the original 1961 Parent Trap hopefully you will join me.

    1. Jade2016 April 18, 2020

      How can you request something?

      1. Jon Mani April 18, 2020

To directly request a film or show you can contact the Disney+ Help Center by logging into your account and accessing https://help.disneyplus.com/csp Click 'Give Feedback' -> 'Request a film or show'

  76. grant atkins April 8, 2020

i think a lot of abc shows ugly betty, the goldbergs, the middle, the good doctor, the bachelorette, bless the harts, the rookie, gray's anatomy, lifetime's little women, switched at birth, baby daddy, the conners, good trouble, melissa and joey, 10 things i hate about you, full house original series, lincoln hieghts, lost, make it or break it, the kids are alright, brothers or sisters, last man standing, famous in love, everything gonna be okay, party of five, schooled, a million little things, american housewives and lifetime's married at first sight and dance moms.

    1. Philip April 10, 2020

Some of those shows are only distributed by ABC, shows like The Good Doctor are made by Sony tho

      1. Ernesto Chacon April 19, 2020

ABC doesn't OWN and produces The Goldbergs, The Middle, The Good Doctor, The Conners, lifetime's married at first sight, etc. as they are owned by other production companies (Sony Pictures Television, Warner Bros. Television). Secondly it's likely that shows like Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives seem better suited for Hulu.

  77. Charlie April 8, 2020

Star Wars Holiday Special Academy Award Review of Walt Disney Cartoons Doofenshmirtz Daily Dirt Those aren't on Disney+ or your list

    1. Josh April 13, 2020

I'm not sure why you would want the Star Wars Holiday Special. I try forgetting it ever existed

  78. Payton Cummings April 10, 2020

You forgot to put Stanley and Rolie Polie Olie on this list

  79. Thomas Mulligan April 10, 2020

What about Brandy & Mr. Whiskers?

  80. Allie April 11, 2020

Rolie Polie Olie was on Playhouse Disney.

  81. Sam April 11, 2020

Missing some Disney Channel content such as "As the Bell Rings", "Disney Channel Games" and "Mike's Super Short Show". Also, "Bridge to Terebithia"!

  82. Jon Mani April 12, 2020

Please add the following Marvel content to the list Daredevil (2003) Elektra (2005) Fantasitc Four (2015) Lego Marvel Spider-Man: Vexed by Venom (2019) X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019) New Mutants (202?) may ultimately be on Hulu due to content Animated Series ------------------------------------------------------------------ The Marvel Super Heroes (1966) Spider-Man (1967) The New Fantastic Four (1978) Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers (2014) Made for TV films distributed by Fox and its affiliated labels ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988) -> Currently streaming on Tubi The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (1989) -> Currently streaming on Tubi The Death of the Incredible Hulk (1990) Generation X (1996) Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. 83. Peter April 15, 2020

Your missing Lloyd in space Brotherly love Teen angel 8 simple rules for dating my teenage daughter/simple rules From this list

    1. Jon Mani April 17, 2020

Looks like 'Lloyd in Space' and 'Brotherly Love' were already up there. Still waiting to see '8 Simple Rules'

  84. Jade2016 April 18, 2020

Who owns the right to Our Friend Martin. I’ve lookEd for everywhere. It showed it was owned by 20th Century Fox, but I can’t find it on any of the streaming services.

  85. Jon Mani April 18, 2020

Under the 'OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY' please add 'Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles' (2013) I believe Cartoon Network owns the rights to season 1

    1. Ernesto Chacon April 19, 2020

Pretty sure Lucasfilm still owns the rights to the Yoda Chronicles.

      1. Jon Mani April 20, 2020

Lucasfilm owns the Intellectual Property that was licensed to make the show and may have co-produced season 1 but you will notice season 2 was renamed The 'New' Yoda Chronicles and that season is currently only available on Disney Plus US. There are some wiki articles that state the renaming was done to differentiate the episodes that aired on Cartoon Network because Cartoon Network owns the rights to Season 1.

  86. Emily April 24, 2020

I didn’t see the Hercules Animated tv series on this list. That is also missing from Disney+ Also what about the even steven tv series?

    1. Josh April 30, 2020

This list tracks U.S. availability of titles. Both Hercules animated series and Even Stevens are on the U.S. Disney Plus.

  87. Heather C April 25, 2020

I am so desperate for Legend of the Seeker to be on Disney+!! I don't understand why it isn't, because Disney owns it now! Who do I call to get this show put on the platform because I want it above all others that are missing!

  88. Will April 30, 2020

You're missing the World of Color mini series "Willie and the Yank" which was later brought to home video as one film titled "Mosby's Marauders." It's from 1967 and was one of the first films for actor Kurt Russell. Its last release was on VHS in 1998. It takes place during the Civil War but, IIRC, does not portray or glorify slavery so it could theoretically see a release.

  89. Carissa Moore May 2, 2020

I didn’t see The Mooncussers on the list. Another Mevin Corcoran classic

  90. Amanda May 3, 2020

    You are missing Johnny Shiloh.

  91. Marshall May 3, 2020

Not to sound like a broken record but The 1997 made for TV movie The Love Bug which aired on The Wonderful world of Disney on November 30 1997 & The tv series “Herbie, the love bug” which aired March 17th 1982, it was a mid season replacement series on CBS

  92. Denise Nickers May 3, 2020

Add this one to the list, Spies (1993) a made-for-TV Disney Channel movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0255612/

    1. DENISE NICKERS May 3, 2020

Also, She Stood Alone (1991) another Disney made-for-TV movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102902/

  93. Alessandro Argueta May 3, 2020

You Forgot To Put Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, Yin Yang Yo!, & The Buzz On Maggie as Part Of The What’s Missing Section for Disney Plus.

  94. Alessandro Argueta May 3, 2020

Also I Want To See Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, Yin Yang Yo, & The Buzz On Maggie For Disney Plus

  95. Hilary Eastman May 4, 2020

How about jojo’s circus. I don’t see that children’s stop motion animated tv show on the list. I loved that show growing up.

  96. Ernesto Chacon May 4, 2020

Can you change How I met Your Mother to "(20th Century TV, 2005-2014)" as the show NEVER aired on ABC

  97. Hannah May 4, 2020

Some tv shows I would really like to see are Life with Derek, Naturally Sadie, The Latest Buzz and all those older family channel shows.

    1. Ernesto Chacon May 4, 2020

@Hannah Disney doesn't own Life with Derek and "Naturally, Sadie" as they are Canadian shows and they didn't produce them physically.

  98. James M May 4, 2020

Bride of Boogedy is now on Disney Plus. I don’t think I can include an image, but if you look on the main page then look in the “New to Disney+” section you will see it listed between United States of Animals and Disney Family Sundays.

  99. David May 4, 2020

I don’t at all see Winnie the Pooh Seasons of Giving or Hercules Zero to Hero on any of these lists

    1. David May 4, 2020

Also episodes of Andi Mac are missing from Disney Channel

      1. Maddie June 1, 2020

Probably because of the Stoney Westmorland scandal...

  100. Ernesto Chacon May 5, 2020

Just to Clarify, 20th Century Studios actually owns the rights to A Troll in Central Park along with Thumbelina, besides Warner Bros. doesn't own the rights to this movie anymore so put this in the 20th Century Studios section. Besides, like Thumbelina "A Troll in Cnetral Park" was produced by Don Bluth Productions and owned by Don Bluth Productions before Fox acquired them in 2000, even it begins with "Don Bluth presents".

  101. Ernesto Chacon May 5, 2020

Can you please remove A Troll in Central Park from the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY" listing?

  102. Ernesto Chacon May 5, 2020

Can you Please add in the Disney and 20th Century side of things you missed and forgot to put in?: Buffy, the Vampire Slayer (20th Century TV, 1997-2003, 7 Seasons) starring Sarah Michelle Gellar; Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 (ABC, 2012-2013; 2 Seasons) Starring Krysten Ritter; The Buzz on Maggie (2005-2006, 1 Season); Dave the Barbarian (2004-2005, 1 Season); Disney's The Legend of Tarzan (2001-2003, 2 seasons); The Golden Girls (1985-1992, 7 Seasons) starring Beatrice Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty; Red Band Society (2014-2015, 1 season); Glee (20th Century TV, 2009-2015, 6 seasons); New Girl (20th Century TV, 2011-2018, 7 seasons), Felicity (1998-2002, 4 Seasons) and Bless This Mess (ABC, 2019-present)

  103. Sam Gmuer May 5, 2020

Great list! Still missing "Stich! The Series" (different that the one on there already) and "As the Bell Rings"!

  104. Jason Hurd May 6, 2020

The (newer) Goofy short, "How to Hook Up Your Home Theater." (It premiered in theaters with National Treasure 2.)

  105. Paul May 6, 2020

Many “Magical World of Disney” movies: B.R.A.T. Patrol, Little Spies

  106. Lauren May 6, 2020

There was a whole cute series of Disney Sing Along Songs back in the late 80s/90s with songs from a whole lot of classic Disney movies/cartoons, and a few live-action titles (Pongo & Perdita, Disneyland Fun) that I keep hoping they'll add!

    1. Tom May 11, 2020

I have requested these numerous times through the app. I have also requested Schoolhouse Rocks. Both would be great additions. I know they will be added eventually as Disney owns them and they were released on DVD so it would be easier to convert over than some movie from the 1960’s that last appeared on VHS.

  107. Alan May 6, 2020

The short film Lorenzo and the TV The Parent Trap sequels (there are 3)

  108. Elvin Jones May 7, 2020

I’ve been curious about a TV movie called Child of Glass. I recall seeing it in school in the 80s even though it was made in 78 I believe. I managed to find a horrible vhs to dvd transfer movie. Quality isn’t that great but I’d be curious about its rights.

  109. Miércoles May 7, 2020

I missed this series/movies: „Nixon“ (1995, Cinergi Pictures / Hollywood Pictures) „Medicine Man“ (1992, Cinergi Pictures / Hollywood Pictures) „Arachnophobia“ (1990, Hollywood Pictures) „Up Close & Personal“ (1996, Touchstone Pictures / Cinergi Pictures) „Terminal Velocity“ (1995, Hollywood Pictures, Interscope, PolyGram) „The Day After“ (1983, ABC Circle Films) „Moonlighting - Das Model und der Schnüffler“ (1985-1989, ABC Circle Films) „The Wonder Years“ (1988-1992, ABC, New World Television, The Black/Marlens Company) I know that some of the films in the US are PG-13 and above, so they are unlikely to come on D +, i think.

  110. Savage May 7, 2020

    Buffy the Vampire Slayer

  111. Cesar May 8, 2020

You forgot the show Rollie Polie Ollie, PB&J Otter and JoJo’d Circus. Along with some of their spin off movies Rolie Polie Olie: The Great Defender of Fun and Rolie Polie Olie: The Baby 'Bot Chase. They were a huge part of my childhood!

  112. Joseph St Pierre May 9, 2020

    Reign of Fire.

  113. Rodolphe May 9, 2020

Any release date for Condorman on Disney+?

  114. aj erjavec May 10, 2020

your missing motorcity from the list

  115. PR May 10, 2020

The World’s Greatest Athlete (1973) is missing from the list as well.

  116. Servpro May 11, 2020

I'd also like to see some of Disney's TV specials.

  117. Dawn May 12, 2020

Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day 1968 - missing

    1. Dawn May 12, 2020

Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree 1966 - missing Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too 1974 - missing

      1. Josh May 19, 2020

All three of those shorts are available on Disney+ as part of the film, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977).

  118. Jon B May 12, 2020

Good list but I don't think it's fair to list stuff on Hulu. Granted, it be nice to just have one service but Hulu belongs to Disney. I feel that should be considered Disney+ Dark. That said, yeah there's a ton of stuff that should and are hopefully planned to come soon. I especially support anything with 'Muppet' in the title. I love the four movies and Muppet Moments is cute but the Muppet selection is pitiful. It kills me that the newest Muppet series is there but not the classic show. I understand licensing problems but I wish Disney would open the purse strings for one of the best series. Also need Enchanted. Just love that film :)

    1. Josh May 26, 2020

When compared with Netflix and HBO Max, the TV series listing on Disney+ is the weakest aspect of this streaming service... and adding The Muppet Show would be a good first step to remedying this issue. The other dozen shows that should already be on Disney+: Zorro (both versions), Five Mile Creek, Dr. Syn, Dinosaurs, Home Improvement, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Muppets Tonight, Firefly, Malcolm in the Middle, Lincoln Heights, Once Upon A Time, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

  119. Joseph St Pierre May 12, 2020

Roadside Romeo, Do Dooni Chaar, Feluda: The Kathmandu Caper, Anaganaga O Dheerudu, Zokkomon, Arjun: The Warrior Prince, Luck Luck Ki Baat, Khoobsurat, ABCD 2, Apna Bhai Gaju Bhai, Dangal, Jagga Jasoos (Walt Disney Pictures India.)

  120. Chris May 13, 2020

What happened to Ink & Paint, the docuseries based on the best selling book? It was supposed to be up on the Disney+ service in 2019 but is no where to be found??

  121. Chris May 13, 2020

What happened to Ink & Paint, the docuseries based on the best selling book? It was supposed to be up on the Disney+ service in 2019 but is no where to be found??

  122. Savage May 15, 2020

    Tom Hanks’ “Big”

  123. Disney Halloween Fanatic May 17, 2020

You forgot to remove Bride of Boogedy since it's on now. The Ghost of Cypress Swamp Our Unsung Villains (1956) All About Magic Halloween Hall of Fame Haunted Halloween Halloween Surprises (Mickey Mouse Safety Club) Disney's Greatest Villains (1977, 1983) A Disney Halloween (1981, 1983) Halloween Treat Scary Tales of Halloween Hallowe'en Hilarities Mother Goose Rock N Rhyme

  124. Susan May 21, 2020

Thank goodness that I have my VHS tapes and DVDs of Disney movies that they aren't showing or in this listing ? My collection is far more inclusive. Saves me a lot of money each month . Let me know when they expand their listings for us baby boomers .

  125. David Duquet May 21, 2020

You were missing Marmaduke which is a fox franchise. Hope this gets added

  126. Nick May 21, 2020

What about the movie Armageddon? Wasn’t it Disney & it’s PG-13. Why is it not on Disney Plus?

    1. Ernesto Chacon June 1, 2020

Regardless if it's PG-13 It has content that might not fit on Disney+ hence why this may work on Hulu.

      1. Josh June 1, 2020

'Armageddon' is on the list above, and always has been. (Look under Touchstone Pictures)

        1. Ernesto Chacon June 4, 2020

Yeah, but I'm not expecting EVERY one of the Touchstone Pictures titles regardless if they are PG-13. Look PG-13 is "subjective", all I'm saying is that certain PG-13 titles from Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures and 20th Century might not go to Disney+ such as Coyote Ugly, The Village, Devil Wears Prada, etc.. and instead will head to Hulu.

      2. Red June 29, 2020

That right, It like the show Love, Victor. It was plan to be release on Disney+, then they decided to be release on Hulu because of the subject matter.

  127. Terry May 25, 2020

We'd love to see Right Now Kapow, Future Worm! and the Two More Eggs shorts on Disney+. I don't know if there are any Disney XD shows on there right now.

    1. Ernesto Chacon June 4, 2020

Right Now Kapow is produced by Warner Bros. Animation so they don't physically own the show

  128. Thea May 28, 2020

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister was a WWoD title, that isn’t on the list but should be!

  129. Josh June 1, 2020

I want to see all the Disney holiday parades on there.

  130. Savage June 1, 2020

    Isn’t Stuber rated R?

  131. Ernesto Chacon June 3, 2020

Can you remove "Murder on the Orient Express", "Assassin's Creed", "The Proposal", and "Stuber" from the list? Because the latter film is Rated R which is ideal for Hulu, and while the former three films are PG-13 I don't know if these titles will be on Disney+, they seem more suited for Hulu.

  132. Ernesto Chacon June 3, 2020

I also would suggest to remove "Exodus: Gods of Kings" as that film looks more like a film suited for Hulu, than Disney+.

  133. Ernesto Chacon June 3, 2020

Remove the Dreamworks Animated films distributed by 20th Century Fox as those films reverted back to Universal Pictures, even Universal Home Entertainment is listing the films that were distributed by 20th Century Fox.

  134. Ernesto Chacon June 3, 2020

Can you please add in the following shows: Buffy, the Vampire Slayer (20th Century TV, 1997-2003, 7 Seasons) starring Sarah Michelle Gellar; Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 (ABC, 2012-201, 2 Seasons) Starring Krysten Ritter; The Golden Girls (ABC, 1985-1992, 7 Seasons) starring Beatrice Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty; Red Band Society (ABC Studios, 2014-2015, 1 season); Glee (20th Century TV, 2009-2015, 6 seasons); New Girl (20th Century TV, 2011-2018, 7 seasons) and Felicity (ABC Studios, 1998-2002, 4 Seasons). I'd say the majority of them especially "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" could appeal to the adults and teen demographic on Disney+, along with the fact that most of them are in the TV-PG/TV-14 rating.

    1. Savage June 3, 2020

I agree for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That show is binge-worthy and should be a big win for D+

    2. Josh June 12, 2020

Excellent examples of TV titles that, to quote one commenter, "seem more suited for Hulu." (For instance, a series titled Don't Trust the B**** very unlikely to ever land on Disney+). Lots of valuable feedback though.

      1. Ernesto Chacon June 14, 2020

Frankly Josh I also think that shows like The X-Files, Bones, 24, NYPD Blue, Empire, Desperate Housewives, Castle, Lost are more suited for Hulu than Disney+. Even the PG-13 films such as "Murder on the Orient Express", "Assassin's Creed", "Devil's Wear Prada", "Date Night", "The Proposal", "Coyote Ugly", "The Village", "Signs", "Wild Hogs" and "The Prestige" are titles that seem more suited for Hulu than Disney+

        1. Josh June 14, 2020

We are agreed on this, which is why none of titles you've noted just above are on the list... with a couple exceptions (some being removed at next update).

  135. Ernesto Chacon June 3, 2020

Can you also add in "Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse", "Mickey's House of Villains", "Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menace", and "Lego Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out"?

  136. Ernesto Chacon June 3, 2020

Can you add in (Available in some countries) For Anastasia (1997), because the film is available in several international countries just not in the United States?

  137. Phillip June 5, 2020

You placed James Cameron’s Titanic in the list of films that Disney does not have global rights to. This is actually incorrect, as Paramount only owns the domestic/United States rights; 20th Century Fox owns the international/global rights. Also, Anastasia (1997) is now available in some countries. Lastly, is Disney having some trouble with uploading their 1950s and 1960s television content, because they reported in previous months they would be putting on selected episodes of Disneyland/Wonderful World of Disney/World of Color etc along with the Zorro TV series, only to have each and every occasion being a complete no-show?

    1. Josh Shepherd June 5, 2020

"Global rights" refers to Disney/Fox having both domestic (U.S.) and international rights to a title. We will see about the 50/60s TV content, as four such titles are slated to release in June.

    2. Ernesto Chacon June 6, 2020

Then again Disney didn't own the domestic rights to Popeye and Dragon Slayer themselves but they own the international rights.

  138. Susan Taylor June 7, 2020

I didn't see 1987's Return of he Shaggy Dog!

  139. Tony J June 9, 2020

I looked over the Wonderful World of Disney section a few times and I didn't see The Whiz Kid and the Mystery at Riverton (1974) or The Whiz Kid and the Carnival Caper (1976) listed. I really hope they find their way to Disney plus. There might be some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans out there that would love to see of Kim Richards' finest work.

  140. George June 9, 2020

So, 20th century has lost the rights of the DreamWorks-produced films it distributed in the past? In this regard why doesn't Lucasfilm own the rights of the 4 Indiana Jones films it produced for Paramount and ABC studios the rights of the Marvel shows it produced for Netflix?

    1. Ernesto Chacon June 10, 2020

The rights to Indiana Jones is loosey-goosey and in the grey area. Disney/Lucasfilm only owns the copyrights to the story, characters, merchandising and the trademarks of the first 4 Indiana Jones films, and more recently they acquired the film distributions rights to the 5th Indiana Jones film from Paramount Pictures back in December 2013. Paramount owns the theatrical, home video, TV, and streaming distribution rights to the first 4 Indiana Jones films, until the copyright expires or they sell the distribution rights back to Lucasfilm (which I highly doubt it's going to happen). On top of that this isn't like the MCU Spider-Man films where Sony owns PERMANENT rights to the films.

      1. GEORGE June 11, 2020

Thanks. I thought that the film production company always retained the rights to the movie product even though it was distributed by another company just like it happens with the tv shows. For example Modern Family was owned by 20th tv even though it was broadcasted on Disney's ABC until Disney bought it and eventually owned it. In conclusion, films are usually owned by the studio that distributes them and tv shows are owned by the production company? Do you know who owns the rights to the Netflix/Marvel shows?

Josh can you Please add Buffy, the Vampire Slayer (20th Century TV, 1997-2003, 7 Seasons) starring Sarah Michelle Gellar; The Golden Girls (ABC, 1985-1992, 7 Seasons) starring Beatrice Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty; Red Band Society (ABC Studios, 2014-2015, 1 season); Glee (20th Century TV, 2009-2015, 6 seasons); New Girl (20th Century TV, 2011-2018, 7 seasons) and Felicity (ABC Studios, 1998-2002, 4 Seasons). I don't care if many commenters say "They are suited for Hulu" I'd say the majority of these shows especially "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" could appeal to the adults and teen demographic on Disney+, along with the fact that most of them are in the TV-PG/TV-14 rating. Even Buffy was listed on the Disney+ survey for more adult/teen content on the service.

    1. Savage July 5, 2020

Right. I agree for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Can you please add that show to that list, please?

Why you keep spamming the comments about adding this specific movie/show when literally NONE of them are owned, produced or distributed by Disney and with the shows/movies you put down, they are ALL owned by the Jim Henson Company and no Disney doesn't have the rights to all the Jim Henson shows/movies (unless if the show was co-produced with Disney such as "Dinosaurs" and the Upcoming "Earth to Ned"). Disney ONLY owns the rights to The Muppets and Bear in the Big Blue House since 2004 after the Henson Company sold the brands off to Disney.

  189. Michelle July 6, 2020

This list is actually missing quite a number of the Disney Studios movies, you can just look at Wikipedia for a list. Or maybe I’m missing something to explain why those movies weren’t all included. I went blind trying to scan your list for my missing favorites, lol, but these are the ones I’d love to see Disney include that aren’t on your list: The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes Strongest Man in the World Absent Minded Professor All The Love Bug Movies (4-5) Escape From Witch Mountain Return to Witch Mountain Parent Trap with Haley Mills 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea Old Yeller The Shaggy Dog Swiss Family Robinson That Darn Cat The Ugly Dachshund Apple Dumpling Gang Freaky Friday Candleshoe We signed up this week to see Hamilton. If all my favorite movies were there I’d consider keeping my subscription beyond one month.

What a great list! I have been looking for the Gallagher series as well as other Wonderful World of Disney titles. I am hoping Disney will have those in not too distant future. They seem to be concentrating on new material rather than the vault stuff. I picked up Disney+ for 3 years and I have been hoping in the past 8 months more old material would show up. I could care less if it is in 4K or not. Just show it in original form is good enough for me. Most of the old stuff has never been been released on VHS or DVD either, so it is impossible to find.

I’m pretty sure the Batman movie isn’t going to be on this list because you know Warner Bros. owns DC

      1. Kael Harvey July 15, 2020

While yes, WB owns DC, Disney owns Batman 1966. Something like that on Disney+ would be sure to boost subscribers

        1. Ernesto Chacon July 17, 2020

You're somewhat correct. While 20th Century Fox owns the licensing rights to the 1960's Batman show, the characters including Batman are owned by DC Comics (owner of the characters, and sister company of Warner Bros.) So that requires deep in the process of sorting out the legalities and licensing situations for this release. Other license issues that are involved, include the music.

          1. Kael Harvey October 11, 2020

I am a bit late to this reply (I don't actively check the comments here) but I don't think music is an issue, as the Batman Theme by Neil Hefti is owned by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, which is of course owned by Disney now. You can see this in the credits of Ralph Breaks the Internet and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I have no doubt that the character rights are a mess though.

Can you remove "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2003-2005) Lucasfilm, Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky" from the LIVE-ACTION AND ANIMATED TV SERIES (DISNEY LEGACY AND SELECT ABC TITLES)? Because compared to the 2008 CGI Clone Wars series this one isn't 100% owned by Lucasfilm as Cartoon Network Studios was involved in the micro-series for both co-producing and animating the show and this is where I think it's VERY unlikely this will EVER air on Disney+ anytime soon.

    1. aj erjavec July 16, 2020

So what fantastic four worlds greatest heroes was Co produced By Cartoon Network and that’s on Disney+ so why can’t Star Wars clone wars be on Disney+

      1. Ernesto Chacon July 17, 2020

WRONG AJ, Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes was actually developed by Moonscope Group, and even if you say Cartoon Network co-produced it, they didn't physically own the show nor was it developed at Cartoon Network Studios.

        1. aj erjavec July 19, 2020

Even So fox helped create Star Wars clone wars and since Disney owns 2/3 of the things that help to make that show I’m pretty sure they can put it on Disney+

          1. Ernesto Chacon July 19, 2020

I don't think 20th Century Fox was involved in the Clone Wars microseries as they just the Home Video distributors. Besides, the microseries was co-produced by Cartoon Network studios which will be difficult to have this air on Disney+. I'm not going to continue arguing with you while at the same time making refutes and dismissing my statements AJ.

Can You Please Put Hollywood Party 1934 Starring the Three stooges and Walt Disney Film The World’s Greatest Athlete 1973

  209. Ernesto Chacon July 13, 2020

Here are some other shows you can add for next month: Kyle XY (2006-2009, 3 Seasons); The Astronaut Wives Club (2015); The Real O'Neals (2016-2017, 2 Seasons); Wonderfalls (20th Century TV, 2004, 1 Season); The Tick (1994-1996, 3 Seasons); Goosebumps (1995-1998, 4 Seasons); Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego? (1994-1999, 4 Seasons); The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978, 6 Seasons); Still Standing (20th Century TV, 2002-2006, 4 Seasons).

    1. Ernesto Chacon July 13, 2020

Now The Tick, Goosebumps and Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego? are actually owned by Disney much like the X-Men animated series and Richie Rich's Christmas Wish, both of these aforementioned shows aired on Fox Kids and they owned the Saban Entertainment library. I also would like to suggest Rusty: A Dog's Tale (1998 film)

      1. Harry December 12, 2020

Disney owns The Tick, but not the other two.

Disney doesn't own the rights to The Peanuts franchise, it's ONLY The Peanuts Movie (Blue Sky) through the Fox acquisition. Just like how they don't own the rights to Garfield and Alvin and the Chipmunks, but own ONLY the Live-Action film adaptations of them.

  220. aj erjavec July 19, 2020

I have four shows Then I’m wondering if they would count for Disney+ and they are Sabrina the teenage witch Sabrina the animated series you wish and teen angel I’ll be honest teen angel and you wish our only because the crossover with Sabrina and boy meets world

    1. Ernesto Chacon July 19, 2020

Disney doesn't own Sabrina the teenage witch and Sabrina the animated series. The former is OWNED by especially ViacomCBS and the latter show is currently owned by DHX Media/Wildbrain which have the rights to the Cookie Jar/DiC Library catalog.

      1. aj erjavec July 19, 2020

Two things one I mostly wanted to teen angel and you were just for the crossover they had with boy meets world and Sabrina and to Sabrina had a episode where they went to Disney world I’m pretty sure Disney would want to have a show that has one of their biggest Part of the revenue

        1. Ernesto Chacon July 19, 2020

And again, Disney doesn't own the rights to Sabrina the teenage witch and Sabrina the animated series.

          1. aj erjavec July 19, 2020

What about the other two shows teen angel and you wish

        2. Ernesto Chacon July 20, 2020

Teen Angel and You Wish are owned by ABC Studios which is owned by Disney. Again, if a show is produced and developed by Disney and it's subsidiaries (ABC Studios/Touchstone Television, 20th Century Television) then they own it, but if they did NOT produce/develop a particular show or movie that is owned by an outside production company (e.g. Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Pretty Little Liars, The Middle, The Goldbergs, My Babysitter's a Vampire, Life with Derek, "Sister, Sister", Hotel Transylvania: The Series etc..) and just air the show then they don't own it/

          1. aj erjavec July 21, 2020

For Sabrina and sister sister The company that helped make those shows has worked with Disney and lots of other projects including a diary of a future president and the upcoming life and deaf so they’re making a deal to let Shows that they were done with Disney or ABC be on Disney+ is not out of the realm of possibilities

          2. Ernesto Chacon July 24, 2020

PJ Masks, Bluey, Gigantosaurus and Miraculous Ladybug are the exceptions but again, Disney+ is only interested in creating original content from their OWN Library content (e.g. Disney, ABC, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, 20th Century Studios) on the service or acquiring shows from an outside production company that fits within the service and that interests them (e.g. Diary of a Future President & the upcoming "Life and Deaf" from CBS Studios; Earth to Ned from The Jim Henson Company; Clouds). Once again, I don't think Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sabrina the Animated series, "Sister, Sister", Pretty Little Liars, The Middle, Pushing Daisies, The Goldbergs, My Babysitter's a Vampire, Life with Derek, Hotel Transylvania: The Series will ever be on Disney+ like at all. Secondly aside from PJ Masks, Bluey, Gigantosaurus and soon Miraculous Ladybug I don't think they are interested in acquiring streaming rights of certain shows (e.g. "Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sabrina the Animated series, "Sister, Sister") from an outside production company when compared to HBO Max and Peacock.

        3. Ernesto Chacon July 22, 2020

But you're missing the big picture, just because Diary of a Future President and the upcoming "life and deaf" being produced by CBS Television Studios and airing on Disney+ doesn't necessarily mean that Sabrina and "Sister Sister" will ALSO air on the service as well because again, and last time saying this, if a show is produced and developed by Disney and it's subsidiaries (ABC Studios/Touchstone Television, 20th Century Television) like Boy Meets World, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Golden Girls, Modern Family, among many others then they own the show, but if they did NOT produce/develop a particular show or movie (with some exceptions) that is owned by an outside production company (e.g. Warner Bro.s Television, Sony Pictures Television, CBS Television studios) such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Pretty Little Liars, The Middle, Pushing Daisies, The Goldbergs, My Babysitter's a Vampire, Life with Derek, "Sister, Sister", Hotel Transylvania: The Series, and air the show on Disney Channel or ABC then they don't own the full rights to the series. The reason Diary and the upcoming "Life and Deaf" are airing on Disney+ was a decision made by the production company CBS Television studios and the people at Disney+ who gave it a go as it felt family-friendly on the service.

          1. aj erjavec July 23, 2020

I was trying to say that maybe they can make a deal so it should at least be on the last category plus with miraculous ladybug coming and PJ masks being on there which I don’t think we’re made by Disney pin on Disney+ or coming in miraculous his case but to be fair the only episode I can’t see them not putting on there is one episode and season 7 One for house Sabrina has been transformed into and two for the Scooby Doo appearance so can we at least say Sabrina should at least be on The category which is unlikely to be on Disney+ but we wouldn’t mind if it was

          2. Ernesto Chacon July 24, 2020

@AJ Erjavec Finally keep in mind that ViacomCBS is planning to launch a larger premium streaming offering, combining CBS All Access with content from Paramount Pictures, the Domestic Media Networks division, and Pluto TV. Even it's set to include a library of 30,000 television series episodes and up to 1,000 film titles from Paramount's film and television divisions and CBS Television Distribution so don't count on Sabrina and Sister, Sister coming to Disney+.

          3. Ernesto Chacon July 25, 2020

@AJ Erjavec PJ Masks, Bluey, Gigantosaurus and Miraculous Ladybug are the exceptions but again, Disney+ is only interested in creating original content from their OWN Library content (e.g. I agree it's PG-13, and when compared to the other PG-13 Touchstone Pictures films like Armaggedon, Coyote Ugly, Signs, The Village, The Proposal, A Lot Like Love, Jumper, and Wild Hogs which seem more suited for Hulu, this could be an ideal fit for Disney+.

What About Touchstone Film Called Country 1984

  239. Savage August 3, 2020

Seriously, how aren’t you adding “Buffy the Vampire Slayer?” That show is rated TV-PG/TV-14, similar ratings to “The Simpsons.” There are certain shows like “The Simpsons” that may seem better suited for Hulu but they’re still added on to D+. Even there was a survey hints that show may be coming in a future. There is nothing wrong with “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” That show is very binge-worthy, DEFINITELY should a WIN for D+, and could appeal to older audiences. Can you PLEASE add “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” on the list?

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

I agree. Josh why aren't you adding Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Golden Girls?!?!? ??

  240. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

Josh Shepherd can you move "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2003-2005) Lucasfilm, Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky" from the LIVE-ACTION AND ANIMATED TV SERIES (DISNEY LEGACY AND SELECT ABC TITLES) to the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY" category? Because compared to the 2008 CGI Clone Wars series this one isn't 100% owned by Lucasfilm as Cartoon Network Studios was involved in the micro-series for both co-producing and animating the show, plus it's not listed on the Lucasfilm website nor is it Star Wars Canon.

    1. aj erjavec August 3, 2020

For Star Wars clone wars I don’t think Cartoon Network really going to complain Because Disney has way more money than them Plus when Disney bought marvel and Star Wars they basically let the shows they were still ongoing basically fizzled out to avoid Disney so I’m pretty sure Star Wars clone wars is viable for Disney+

      1. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

Again AJ, I'm not going to continue listening to your arguments and your refutes, the microseries while co-produced by Lucasfilm, it was co-produced by Cartoon Network studios I see this falling under "Do they own this series Physically?". On top of that compared to the Ewoks TV movies, and the Droids and Ewoks cartoon shows which have a very likely chance to appear on Disney+, I don't think the micro series will have a chance to be on Disney+

    2. Tiffany August 3, 2020

Isnt dancing with the stars owned by abc? They promote disney frequently and disney plus when it came out. Would love to see it on the service as I see it as a bingeable series (28 seasons) and is family friendly

      1. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

Dancing with the Stars is owned/produced by BBC Studios not ABC Studios so it should be under "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY"

  241. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

Josh Shepherd can you Please, please and please add Buffy, the Vampire Slayer (20th Century TV, 1997-2003, 7 Seasons) starring Sarah Michelle Gellar; The Golden Girls (ABC, 1985-1992, 7 Seasons) starring Beatrice Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty; Red Band Society (ABC Studios, 2014-2015, 1 season); Glee (20th Century TV, 2009-2015, 6 seasons); New Girl (20th Century TV, 2011-2018, 7 seasons) and Felicity (ABC Studios, 1998-2002, 4 Seasons), Kyle XY (2006-2009, 3 Seasons); The Astronaut Wives Club (2015); The Real O'Neals (2016-2017, 2 Seasons); Wonderfalls (20th Century TV, 2004, 1 Season); The Tick (1994-1996, 3 Seasons); Goosebumps (1995-1998, 4 Seasons); The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978, 6 Seasons) and Still Standing (20th Century TV, 2002-2006, 4 Seasons) to your future listing. I don't care if many commenters including yourself say "They are suited for Hulu" I'd say the majority of these shows especially "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and "The Golden Girls" could appeal to the adults and teen demographic on Disney+, along with the fact that most of them are in the TV-PG/TV-14 rating. Even Buffy was listed on the Disney+ survey for more adult/teen content on the service released a few months ago. Also, you think could add "Ohh Nooo! Mr. Bill Presents" (20th Century TV, 1998-1999, 1 Season) it aired on the Fox Family channel and is produced by 20th Century Television?

  242. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

Can you remove "The Proposal" and "Murder on the Orient Express" on the list in your next update? Even if both of these films are rated PG-13, the content and the scenes displayed in the film especially in Murder on the Orient Express seem more suited to air on Hulu than say Disney+.

  243. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

Can you add this Disney special in your next update, it's called "Funny, You Don't Look 200 - A Constitutional Vaudeville" (1987 Television special)?

  244. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

Also, you think you can remove "Big Momma's House" on the list in the next update? Cause while it's PG-13 the content and humor might not fit Disney+ and seem more suited for Hulu.

  245. Connor Beith August 3, 2020

Interesting that some of the stuff in the "Global Rights Not Owned By Disney" list were moved into the other categories like Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003), also glad Yin Yang Yo! was added. Though it'd be cool if Super Mario Bros. (1993) was put in the Hollywood Pictures category or "Global Rights Not Owned By Disney" and maybe Get Ed, W.I.T.C.H., and other Jetix shows in "Live-Action and Animated TV Series" or "Global Rights Not Owned By Disney".

    1. aj erjavec August 3, 2020

For get Ed which and a few other Jetix I think Disney might on a big chunk of the rights for one get Ed is in the same category as super robot monkey team hyper Force go And yin Yang yo so Disney can put that on Disney+ Witch and atom We’re coproduced by Jetix Europe And a company that Was replaced Walt Disney Company France so I’m pretty sure Disney can put it on Disney+ and I think Disney can put much of the saban Library on Disney+ because unless it says otherwise Disney owns the entire library

      1. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

The ONLY Jetix shows that are 100% owned by Disney are Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go (currently on Disney+), Get Ed, Yin Yang Yo, W.I.T.C.H (co-produced by Jetix Europe; Also based on a Disney Italian comic), and A.T.O.M. (another series co-produced by Jetix Europe) so these shows have a chance to be on Disney+. Ōban Star-Racers and Combo Niños are in the Grey area but these shows could appear it just comes down to the owners as they were developed by another company and not Just Jetix Europe. As for Monster Warriors, Galactik Football, Shuriken School, Team Galaxy, Monster Buster Club, Captain Flamingo, Dragon Booster, Pucca, Kid vs. Kat, Jimmy Two-Shoes, mainly the latter 3 shows I'm pretty sure they aren't 100% owned by Disney/Jetix and unlikely will EVER be on Disney+.

        1. aj erjavec August 4, 2020

What about the Saban Library there are lots of stuff there that unless it’s set otherwise I think does the owns it so they can put on Disney+ the marvel shows saban Made there on Disney+ So why can’t they be on Disney+ so do you think they could become it’s own list

          1. Ernesto Chacon August 4, 2020

Disney doesn't own the rights to Power Rangers and Digimon anymore as they're now owned by Hasbro (for PR) and Toe Animation (for Digimon) respectively. I'm also certain they don't own Pigs Next Door, Wowser Iznogoud, Walter Melon, Bobby's World, The international distribution rights to the pre-1990 DiC Entertainment library reverted to DiC in the 2000s. This library is now owned by WildBrain through Cookie Jar Entertainment, Many of Saban's anime licenses, such as Macron 1, Noozles, Flint the Time Detective, The Littl' Bits and Saban's The Adventures of Pinocchio, What's with Andy? and The Kids from Room 402 so those aren't coming to Disney+

          2. Ernesto Chacon August 4, 2020

However, the only Saban Entertainment properties Disney currently owns from their acquisition of Saban Entertainment in 2001 are the Marvel shows (e.g. X-Men, Spider-Man (1994), The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man Unlimited; Currently on Disney+), Ritchie Rich's Christmas Wish (which is also on Disney+), Rusty: A Dog's Tale (1998), Casper Meets Wendy (1998), Addams Family Reunion (1998), The Tick (1994 animated series), and interestingly enough they also own the rights to Digimon: The Movie (2000) and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001 Anime TV series).

          3. aj erjavec August 5, 2020

I was going on the Saban Wikipedia page which has a section dedicated to the library and there are several things that Disney is still owns so they can be put on Disney+ I think a fun thing to do is to figure out which of the saban things that can be put on Disney+

          4. Ernesto Chacon August 6, 2020

@AJ As I said in my previous posting, Disney doesn't own the rights to Power Rangers and Digimon anymore as they're now owned by Hasbro (for PR) and Toe Animation (for Digimon) respectively. They also don't own Pigs Next Door, Wowser Iznogoud, Walter Melon, Bobby's World, The international distribution rights to the pre-1990 DiC Entertainment library, Many of Saban's anime licenses, such as Macron 1, Noozles, Flint the Time Detective, The Littl' Bits and Saban's The Adventures of Pinocchio, and finally What's with Andy? and The Kids from Room 402 so those are the ONLY Saban properties not coming to Disney+ due to different ownerships. The only Saban Entertainment properties Disney currently owns from their acquisition of Saban Entertainment back in 2001 from the top of my head are the Marvel animated shows (e.g. X-Men, Spider-Man (1994), The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man Unlimited, etc.; Currently on Disney+), Ritchie Rich's Christmas Wish (which is also on Disney+), Rusty: A Dog's Tale (1998), Casper Meets Wendy (1998), Addams Family Reunion (1998), The Tick (1994 animated series), Digimon: The Movie (2000) and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001 Anime TV series)

    2. Ernesto Chacon August 3, 2020

@ConnorBeith Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003) has been moved from the "Global Rights Not Owned By Disney" since last month, personally it should be moved back to the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY" category. the Clone Wars micro-series while co-produced by Lucasfilm, it was co-produced by Cartoon Network studios I see this falling under "Do they own this series Physically?", on top of that compared to the Ewoks TV movies, and the Droids and Ewoks cartoon shows which have a very likely chance to appear on Disney+, I don't think the micro-series will have a chance to be on Disney+

      1. JAMES ABRAHAM June 3, 2022

It's on Disney+ after one year later from this comment. But your Saban Information is wrong. I checked every series DVD cover relased by Jetix in early 2000's and looks like Diabolik, Walter Melon, Iznogoud, Saban's Gulliver Travels, Saban's Little Mermaid, Saban's Oliver Twist and many SIP Animation and Creativite et Developpement libraires still underlying property of Disney. Diabolik: Track Of The Panther, A.T.O.M., W.I.T.C.H., Walter Meoln definitely must be on Disney+ but other are unnecessary

  248. JD August 4, 2020

What about Emmet Otter's Jug Band? (Muppets) Definitely muppet related as the original broadcast has Kermit as narrator at the beginning and ending.

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 6, 2020

Actually that special is still owned by the Jim Henson Companu

What About Disney Film Called My Science Project 1985 and What About 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment Tv Show Called That 70s Show tv series 1998-2006

    1. aj erjavec August 5, 2020

That 70s show will be on Hulu too sexual for Disney+

      1. Ernesto Chacon August 6, 2020

@AJ Erjavec Actually "That 70s Show" was not developed by 20th Century Television like most of us thought it was as literally the show was owned and produced by Carsey-Werner Productions.

    2. Ernesto Chacon August 6, 2020

That 70's Show isn't actually owned by 20th Century Fox television, it's owned by Carsey-Werner Productions.

  250. Griselda Olivarez August 5, 2020

I think there’s a Tinkerbell movie still missing and Pucca

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 6, 2020

Pucca isn't 100% owned by Disney as literally VOOZ/Wildbrain owns the rights to the show.

  251. Daniel Pedersen August 5, 2020

Star Wars the Clone Wars are not missing even though the list says so

    1. Roger Palmer August 5, 2020

There is also a 2D animated series

      1. Ernesto Chacon August 6, 2020

Although the microseries does fall under "Do they own this series Physically?", on top of that compared to the Ewoks TV movies, and the Droids and Ewoks cartoon shows which have a very likely chance to appear on Disney+, I don't think the micro-series will have a chance to be on Disney+. So personally it needs to move under the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY".

        1. aj erjavec August 6, 2020

For those who question For the global rights of Star Wars clone wars I think they’re open several examples when where the fans have asked for someone to sue Disney because they thought they were ripping off another property and the companies who made the shows of people if they were being ripped off said no because I didn’t want to deal with Disney’s lawyers so I think Star Wars clone wars has a chance to be on Disney+

          1. Ernesto Chacon August 7, 2020

Again, the Clone Wars micro-series while co-produced by Lucasfilm, it was co-produced by Cartoon Network studios I see this falling under "Do they own this series Physically?". I like the series but when compared to the Ewoks TV movies, and the Droids and Ewoks cartoon shows which have a very likely chance to appear on Disney+, I don't think the micro-series will have a chance to be on Disney+ nor have Disney and Lucasfilm pay ANY attention to it.

      2. Daniel Pedersen August 6, 2020

Oh wow, I thought you meant the clone wars that got a new season. Never even heard of the 2d series before I found the Wikipedia page (I would clarify in the post that its the other clone wars series also made by Lucasfilm)

  252. Zachary Gage August 6, 2020

What About The Spectacular Spider-Man tv series 2008-2009

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 6, 2020

Unlike the other Marvel Spider-Man shows that are airing on Disney+ (Spider-Man 1994, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2017), both the MTV Spider-Man show and The Spectacular Spider-Man are owned by Sony Pictures Television not Marvel/Marvel Television.

      1. aj erjavec August 7, 2020

Plus I think the MTV Spiderman might be too mature for Disney+

What About Prison Break tv series 2005-2017

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

Prison Break looks more suited for Hulu than Disney+

  257. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

In the next update, can you include Old Dogs in the list cause while the film is available in some Disney+ services in international countries it is not on the US Disney+ due to HBO Max holding the streaming rights until 2022?

  258. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

Can you remove The Orville (20th Century TV, 2017-present) from under the "Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)" section to the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services"? Because for one it is currently airing on Hulu (with its upcoming 3rd season set to air) and second I'd expect this one to be on their upcoming international streaming service "Star". I'd also recommend moving Star Wars: Clone Wars the Micro animated series Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky to the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY" section because literally that series is in the grey area in terms of Ownership as neither Disney nor Lucasfilm themselves never talk about it nor does the latter production company have this listed on their website.

  259. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

I appreciate that you finally included the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services" section on the page cause literally there was a debate on certain films owned by Disney like "Murder on the Orient Express", "Assassin's Creed", "Devil's Wear Prada", "Date Night", "The Proposal", "Coyote Ugly", "The Village", "Signs", and "Wild Hogs" going to either Disney+, Hulu or both despite being rated PG-13. However, I would like to suggest a couple of changes for the next update. The Tick (1994 animated) and Goosebumps need to both move from the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services" to the "Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)" section as both of these aforementioned shows aired on Fox Kids and they looked more suitable on Disney+ as they are rated TV-Y7.

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 12, 2020

Don't forget to move The Tick (1994 Animated TV series) to the "Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)" section as that show aired on Fox Kids, was produced by Saban International and is more suitable on Disney+ as it is rated TV-Y7.

  260. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

Can you re-add "Assassin's Creed" (2016), "The Devil Wears Prada" (2006), "Date Night" (2010), "Coyote Ugly" (Touchstone, 2000), "The Village" (Touchstone, 2004), "Signs" (Touchstone, 2002), and "Wild Hogs" (Touchstone, 2005) to the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services" section while also adding in "Dark Water" (Touchstone, 2005), "Shopgirl" (Touchstone, 2005), "Pretty Woman" (Touchstone, 1990), "A Lot Like Love" (Touchstone, 2005), and "Flightplan" (Touchstone, 2005)?

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

Never Mind you added in Signs but please re-add "Assassin's Creed" (2016), "The Devil Wears Prada" (2006), "Date Night" (2010), "Coyote Ugly" (Touchstone, 2000), "The Village" (Touchstone, 2004), and "Wild Hogs" (Touchstone, 2005) to the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services" section in your next update.

    2. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

Also please add in JoJo Rabbit (2019) Directed by Taika Waititi, released by Searchlight Pictures to the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services" section in your next update.

  261. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

Can you move Monte Carlo (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Life of Pi (2012), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), and The Book of Life (2014) to the 20th Century Films section for the next update? The majority of these films are rated PG and seem more suited to air on Disney+ than say Hulu/Star.

  262. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

While although the majority of them I'm listing are already available on Hulu do you think you can add in 24 (20th Century TV, 2001-2010, 9 Seasons), The X-Files (20th Century TV, 1993-2002; 2016-2018, 11 Seasons) Bones (20th Century TV, 2005-2017, 12 Seasons), NYPD Blue (20th Century TV, 2001-2010, 9 Seasons), Empire (20th Century TV, 2015-2020, 6 Seasons), Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 (ABC, 2012-2013; 2 Seasons) Starring Krysten Ritter, Lost (ABC, 2004-2010, 6 Seasons), Desperate Housewives (ABC, 2004-2012, 6 Seasons), Revenge (ABC, 2011-2015, 4 Seasons), Scandal (ABC, 2012-2015, 7 Seasons), Castle (ABC, 2009-2016, 8 Seasons), and How to Get Way with Murder (ABC, 2014-2020, 6 Seasons) to the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services"?

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 13, 2020

Also, Typo error on NYPD Blue as the show began and ended on 1993 not 2005. So it should be NYPD Blue (20th Century TV, 1993-2005, 12 Seasons),

  263. Ernesto Chacon August 10, 2020

Can you move The Tick (1994 animated) and Goosebumps from the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services" to the "Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)" section as both of these aforementioned shows aired on Fox Kids and they are family-friendly titles that would work well on the Disney+ service as they are rated TV-Y7.

    1. aj erjavec August 12, 2020

I don’t think Disney owns the rights to To the goosebumps show I think that’s owned by the company that made the books also help made the TV show

      1. Ernesto Chacon August 12, 2020

Said the person who still argues that Star Wars: Clone Wars (the 2D Microseries) is owned by Disney/Lucasfilm which they don't. Even if Goosebumps is a Scholastic property the producers of the show from the 1990's was produced by 20th Century TV.

        1. aj erjavec August 12, 2020

Scholastic Has been involved in pretty much every one of the many adaptations of their properties so I find it unlikely I will be on Disney+

          1. Ernesto Chacon August 12, 2020

Again it aired on Fox Kids, it was distributed by 20th Century TV, it still could air on the service unless said so otherwise. Besides, you have other film tv adaptations of Scholastic properties owned by the distributor of that particular film or show (e.g. Universal/Dreamworks Animation for Captain Underpants, Sony Pictures for the Goosebumps films). I'm not going to continue arguing with you again as literally you were the same person who wanted Star Wars: Clone Wars (the 2D Micro series) to appear on the Disney+ service when literally Disney/Lucasfilm don't own it 100% and show little care over it, along with the fact that Cartoon Network Studios did the animation.

About goosebumps Disney does that on any of the production companies that made the TV show add said someone got into a big heated argument with me about whether or not Sabrina the teenage witch can be on Disney+ because Disney did it all the companies that produce it I think Goosebumps has apparently just as likely to chat as Sabrina

    1. aj erjavec August 13, 2020

I was trying to say Disney does not own The production companies That made goosebumps And since someone on here has made a big list of Shows that aired on Disney own Networks that are unlikely to be on Disney+ because their production companies are not own by disney

      1. Ernesto Chacon August 13, 2020

Said someone who wanted Sabrina the Teenage Witch and the 2d Clone Wars microseries on Disney+ when they don't own it. Seriously you're missing the big picture AJ, PJ Masks, Bluey, Gigantosaurus and Miraculous Ladybug are the exceptions but again, Disney+ is only interested in creating original content from their OWN Library content (e.g. Disney, ABC, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, 20th Century Studios) on the service or acquiring shows from an outside production company that fits within the service and that interests them (e.g. Diary of a Future President & the upcoming "Life and Deaf" from CBS Studios; Earth to Ned from The Jim Henson Company; Clouds; Black Beauty from Constantin Film). Once again, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sabrina the Animated series, "Sister, Sister", Pretty Little Liars, The Middle, Pushing Daisies, The Goldbergs, My Babysitter's a Vampire, Life with Derek, Hotel Transylvania: The Series will never be on Disney+ like at all. Secondly aside from PJ Masks, Bluey, Gigantosaurus and soon Miraculous Ladybug I don't think Disney are interested in acquiring streaming rights of certain shows (e.g. "Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sabrina the Animated series, "Sister, Sister") from an outside production company when compared to HBO Max and Peacock. Finally, just so you know, ViacomCBS is planning to launch a larger premium streaming offering, combining CBS All Access with content from Paramount Pictures, the Domestic Media Networks division, and Pluto TV. Even it's set to include a library of 30,000 television series episodes and up to 1,000 film titles from Paramount's film and television divisions and CBS Television Distribution so don't count on Sabrina and Sister, Sister coming to Disney+, of course, "Sister, Sister" will be on Netflix next month.

        1. aj erjavec August 14, 2020

The point I was trying to make was the goosebumps is unlikely to be on Disney+ because it’s not from production companies that Disney owns

          1. Ernesto Chacon August 14, 2020

And again I get that. I just thought 20th Century TV also produced the 1990's Goosbumps series. Lastly and last time, I also think the Clone Wars 2D Micro series is unlikely to be on Disney+

          2. aj erjavec August 14, 2020

Sorry about that but your last comment didn’t exactly give the implication do you understand why am I was saying plus I do have another comment up there that has all the Saban Shows I think can be on Disney+ after all unless it said otherwise Disney does own the library

          3. Ernesto Chacon August 14, 2020

The ONLY Saban properties that Disney owns from their acquisition of Saban Entertainment in 2002 are the Marvel shows (e.g. X-Men, Spider-Man (1994), The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man Unlimited; Currently on Disney+), Ritchie Rich's Christmas Wish (which is also on Disney+), Rusty: A Dog's Tale (1998), Casper Meets Wendy (1998), Addams Family Reunion (1998), The Tick (1994 animated series), Digimon: The Movie (2000), Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001 Anime TV series) along with the ones that you mentioned in the other post: Kid n play, Video Power, Little shop, Tenko and the Guardians of Magic, Little mouse on the prairie, bureau of alien Detectors, The secret files of the spy dogs, Xyber 9: New Dawn, NASCAR racers, Action Man, Mad Scientist Toon Club, Sweet Valley High, Breaker High, Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, The New Addams Family, and Los Luchadores. So yeah those do have a chance it just will come down to HQ versions of these shows

          4. aj erjavec August 14, 2020

Hey do you think Disney will make a deal with Hasbro for PJ masks And several And several Saban Properties For Hasbro to finally release Robots in disguise on DVD Also how cool would it be if they made a deal to allow Hasbro characters in the MCU because at least G.I. Joe had transformers do have marvel roots

  270. JBW August 13, 2020

    Sidekicks(1986)/ The Last Electric Knight

  271. Ernesto Chacon August 13, 2020

Can you update Red Bang Society with (ABC Studios, 2014-2015, 1 season) cause it didn't air on the ABC channel.

  272. Ernesto Chacon August 14, 2020

Thank you for updating the listing however you put Assassin’s Creed (2016), The Devil Wears Prada (2006), and Date Night (2010) after Chronicle, they need to be put in the right years chronologically. Also can you please move Monte Carlo (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961), Life of Pi (2012), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), and The Book of Life (2014) to the 20th Century Films section for the next update? The majority of these films are rated PG and are family-friendly and more suited to air on Disney+ than say Hulu/Star. Lastly moved "The Post" to the "Often-Requested Titles With Global Rights Not Owned By Disney" as literally 20th Century Fox own the rights to the film in North America while Universal Pictures has the international rights

  273. Ernesto Chacon August 14, 2020

Can you add Flicka (2006) (Available in Some Countries) and Old Dogs (2009) (Available in Some Countries) to the list, because both movies aren't available on Disney+ in the United States? Also, can you add a ")" after the 2016 on "Wander Over Yonder (2013-2016" cause it's missing a parenthesis.

  274. Ernesto Chacon August 14, 2020

Can you move Bridge to Terabithia (2007) Disney/Walden Media/Summit-Lionsgate to "Often-Requested Titles With Global Rights Not Owned By Disney" as literally Disney ONLY own the rights to the film in North America while Summit Entertainment has the international rights.

  276. Ernesto Chacon August 14, 2020

Can you move Bicentennial Man (1999) Starring Robin Williams to "Often-Requested Titles With Global Rights Not Owned By Disney" section in the next update? As literally Disney/Touchstone ONLY own the rights to the film in North America while Columbia/Sony Pictures has international distribution rights. Also, remove Paramount on The Wind in the Willows (1996) as Paramount was not involved in the production of this film

  277. Ernesto Chacon August 14, 2020

Can you move Dead Poets Society (1989), Monkeybone (2001), Annapolis (2006) to the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services" these films do have content that might be suited for Star/Hulu, and while the former film is rated PG it does deal with very sensitive topics and backstabbing especially in the films final 20-30 minutes.

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 26, 2020

The reason the Muppet Family Christmas hasn't been released was actually due to Music Licensing issues.

      1. aj erjavec August 31, 2020

Josh, Can you please move Bicentennial Man (1999) Starring Robin Williams, "The Post" and Bridge to Terabithia (2007) to "Often-Requested Titles With Global Rights Not Owned By Disney" section for the next update. Literally Disney ONLY owns the rights to the films in North America, but internationally it's not the case. The international right for Bicentennial Man are owned by Columbia/Sony Pictures, Bridge to Terabithia international rights are fully owned by Summit Entertainment who have full distribution rights in international markets instead of Disney, while the international rights to The Post are owned by Universal Pictures.

  301. Ernesto Chacon August 26, 2020

Josh can you move the Star Wars: Clone Wars the Micro animated series Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky to the "OFTEN-REQUESTED TITLES WITH GLOBAL RIGHTS NOT OWNED BY DISNEY" section because literally that series is in the grey area in terms of Ownership as neither Disney nor Lucasfilm themselves never talk about it nor does the latter production company have this listed on their website, even Cartoon Network Studios made the animation

  302. Ernesto Chacon August 26, 2020

Josh Shepherd Can you please move Monte Carlo (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Life of Pi (2012), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), and The Book of Life (2014) to the "20th Century Studios And Affiliated Labels (Pre-2012 Releases)" "and 20th Century Films Since 2012" for the next update? Literally The majority of these films are rated PG and seem to be the kind of movies more suited to air on Disney+ than say Hulu/Star.

  303. Ernesto Chacon August 26, 2020

Lastly Josh can you please move The Tick (1994 Animated TV series) to the "Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)" instead of keeping it in the "Likely additions to Hulu/Star" section in perpetuity? Because that show aired on Fox Kids, alongside the X-Men and Spider-Man animated shows and is more suitable on Disney+ as it is rated TV-Y7. Also, reorganize Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) and move it in between "The Hate U Give" and "Alita" as that film came out in 2019

Can you add "(Available in some countries)" for The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (2005)? Because it turns out the film was listed in one of the Promos for Disney+ UK as it has footage of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Touchstone) https://twitter.com/DisneyPlusUK/status/1287326798569758721

  305. Ernesto Chacon August 27, 2020

Move The Orville (20th Century TV, 2017-present) from under the "Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)" section to the "Likely Future Additions on Hulu/Star Streaming Services"? Because for one it is currently airing on Hulu (with its upcoming 3rd season set to air) and second I'd expect this one to be on their upcoming international streaming service "Star".

  306. Ernesto Chacon August 27, 2020

Here are other series that aren't on the list that could be awesome additions to Disney+ for the next update, Fireball (2008) (Available on Disney+ Japan), Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers (2014-2015), Stitch & Ai (2017), and RoboDz (2008)?

For the next update can you add Casper Meets Wendy (1998), Addams Family Reunion (1998), Digimon: The Movie (2000) and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001 Anime TV series)?

Can you correct "Stich! The Series (2008-2009)" to "Stitch! The Series (2008-2011)" cause the show has three seasons. In addition, you should add in (Available on Disney+ Japan) as currently, the series is available on that service so far. https://twitter.com/DisneyPlusJP/status/1293729034241810433 https://twitter.com/DisneyPlusJP/status/1292656956080103425

  314. Ernesto Chacon August 30, 2020

Can you add "(currently on Starz)" for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Ice Age, Thumbelina, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the Garfield Films and Robots?

  315. Ernesto Chacon August 30, 2020

Can you correct "Stich! The Series (2008-2009)" to "Stitch! The Series (2008-2011)" cause the name was mispronounced and it had 3 seasons. Also, add in "(Available on Disney+ Japan)" for the show as the series is so far available on that international service. https://twitter.com/DisneyPlusJP/status/1293729034241810433

  316. Ernesto Chacon August 30, 2020

Can you add in You Again (2010) (Currently on Starz) (Available in some countries)? Cause the film is available on certain countries but has yet to reach the United States.

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 30, 2020

Typo just have the "Currently" be lowercased once you update it.

  317. Ernesto Chacon August 30, 2020

Can you add "(currently on HBO Max)" for Anastasia (1997), as that film is still having a streaming contract with HBO in the USA?

    1. Ernesto Chacon August 30, 2020

I also would recommend adding in "(currently on HBO Max)" for Flicka (2006), as that film is still having a streaming contract with HBO in the USA. https://play.hbomax.com/feature/urn:hbo:feature:GXdcbKgPXh6XCPQEAAC2r?camp=googleHBOMAX

    1. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

It's already been put on the list under Global Rights NOT owned by Disney

  324. Zachary Gage September 1, 2020

What About Green Card 1990 Touchstone Film

  325. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

Please add in "Funny, You Don't Look 200 - A Constitutional Vaudeville" (1987) it's a 1987 Television special produced by Disney.

  326. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

Josh I'm asking once and not asking again please move Bicentennial Man (1999) Starring Robin Williams, "The Post" and Bridge to Terabithia (2007) to "Often-Requested Titles With Global Rights Not Owned By Disney". Literally Disney ONLY owns the rights to the films in North America, but internationally it's not the case. The international rights for Bicentennial Man are owned by Columbia/Sony Pictures, Bridge to Terabithia international rights are fully owned by Summit Entertainment who have full distribution rights in international markets instead of Disney, while the international rights to The Post are owned by Universal Pictures. Also please move Monte Carlo (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961), Life of Pi (2012), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), and The Book of Life (2014) to the "20th Century Studios And Affiliated Labels (Pre-2012 Releases)" "and 20th Century Films Since 2012" for the next update? Literally the majority of these films are family friendly and rated PG as well as being the kind of movies more suited to air on Disney+ than say Hulu/Star.

  327. Zachary Gage September 1, 2020

I Don’t See Future Worm 2016-2018 And Pickle And Peanut 2015-2018

  328. Orion Logan September 1, 2020

    They're Coming To Disney+

  329. Savage September 1, 2020

Hey Josh, can you remove Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Love, Simon, Paper Towns, The Golden Girls, Planet of the Apes films, and How I Met Your Mother away from the Hulu/Star section? With “The Fault in Our Stars” coming to Disney+ this month, this should give us a insight on what content that are either family-friendly and/or appropriate coming to the service. Same thing with “The Gifted” which is an X-Men property.

    1. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

I'd also say the same thing with removing Monte Carlo (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961), Life of Pi (2012), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), and The Book of Life (2014) from the Hulu/Star section as the majority of these films are family-friendly and appropriate to air on Disney+. Plus all of them are rated PG.

      1. Savage September 1, 2020

        I agree

  330. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

Can you add "(currently on HBO Max)" for Mr. Magorium as well as including Sky High in the list cause until December HBO still has US streaming rights for Sky High.

  331. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

Can you add "(currently on Starz)" for Ice Age and the first two Night at the Museum films? Also, you think you can add in "(Available in Disney+ UK/Ireland)" for Horton Hears a Who and "(Available in some countries)" for Spies in Disguise?

  332. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

Lastly Josh, can you please remove "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Lucasfilm, 2003-2005) 2D Anime Series Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky" from the Live-Action And Animated TV Series (Disney Legacy and Select ABC Titles)? Because literally that series is in the grey area in terms of Ownership as neither Disney nor Lucasfilm themselves never talk about it nor does the latter production company have this listed on their website, even Cartoon Network Studios made the animation.

  333. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

Please correct "Stich!

  334. Ernesto Chacon September 1, 2020

Can you remove "(Available in Some Countries)" for Dan in Real Life while at the same time move the film to the Global Rights Not Owned By Disney section? Because Disney/Touchstone doesn't own International rights to the film Focus Features have it, nor is the film on ANY of their International Disney+ services including the United Kingdom/Ireland. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0480242/companycredits?ref_=tt_dt_co

  335. Ernesto Chacon September 2, 2020

Can you also add "(currently on HBO Max)" for Home Alone 1-2 cause that's where both of the streaming rights to these films are at in the United States?

  336. Zachary Gage September 2, 2020

What About Bill Nye The Science Guy Tv series 1993-1998 And Oscar 1991

    1. aj erjavec September 2, 2020

Totally agree with you on the Bill Nye thing why do you have one thing that has less to do with what’s not on Disney+ but rather to collections does anyone else think that Miles Murphy’s Law should be add to the phineas and Ferb Collection and the live action beauty and the beast and Cinderella should be added to the Disney princess collection

  337. Ernesto Chacon September 2, 2020

Can you change "(2019)" to "(2018)" for Bohemian Rhapsody, because the film came out in November 2018.

    1. aj erjavec September 5, 2020

I don’t think Batman is going to be on Disney+ mostly because I think Warner Bros. owns the rights to that show because it is a DC show

      1. Anon E Mouse October 11, 2020

Disney actually owns the rights to that show via Fox. WB did put on DVD and Blu-ray under license from Fox, but Fox owns the rights.

    1. aj erjavec September 6, 2020

I’m iffy about Peter Pan and the Pirates Because I have read some different sources that it’s one of the shows Disney didn’t want to put out after they bought Saban Because I didn’t wanna on two different Peter Pan properties and I’m iffy about attack of the killer tomatoes Shirley because I don’t know who owns the franchise the animated series is based on and here’s one show that was on Fox they wanna know if it’s OK to be on Disney+ dog city

Here are some marvel projects that I’m not sure are on the list but I think should be on Disney+ the 1970s live-action the amazing Spiderman the live-action Incredible Hulk to the Japanese coproduction live action Spiderman show The marvel superheroes show from the 60s the animated Spiderman TV show TV show from the early 60s The animal Incredible Hulk show from the 80s the spectacular Spiderman the marvel anime stuff disk wars the avengers future avengers The dare devil movie the elektra movie The movie is marvel made with Lionsgate Iron Man and Captain America heroes tonight marvel superheroes adventures France freight hope we are monsters dwell And the Lego marvel movies

    1. Ernesto Chacon September 7, 2020

The Marvel Disk Wars Anime, along with the Daredevil and Elektra live-action films are already listed. Secondly I don't think the Lionsgate Marvel movies will EVER be on Disney+

      1. aj erjavec September 7, 2020

For the lien gate movies it’s hard to say what is the rights of them also about the other stuff from Marvel I said

        1. Ernesto Chacon September 9, 2020

Even so, Disney/Marvel doesn't own the rights to The Lionsgate Marvel movies (animated).

          1. aj erjavec September 10, 2020

The question is whether or not Disney can make a deal with Lionsgate to put them on Disney+

          2. Ernesto Chacon September 16, 2020

@AJ Again Disney/Marvel don't own the rights to The Lionsgate Marvel movies (animated) so they are not going to Disney+ nuff said.

      2. Stacy wade September 16, 2020

Don’t know if my first comment went through but anyone know about plus adding more vi rage cartoons? Like trick or treat, infamous Donald cartoon and they only have 1 Xmas cartoon, Pluto’s Xmas tree... there are soooo many more and great ones, are they adding them? Also made for tv specials from the 80’s like adventures of chip n dale, Disney Halloween and a Disney Xmas gift... really miss those cartoons and Disney plus was my hope to pass down and watch with my kids! Hope someone can give me good news on those?
