I have gone to school here since kindergarten, through the years I have had many bad teachers and many good ones. When I got to high school I noticed that some teachers didn’t teach, they would post a YouTube video made by someone else for our “lesson” in those classes, me and others struggled. In order to succeed we needs involvement and actually taught. The sports teams are all decent, some teams aren’t very good but people enjoy being on them. The Volleyball team in particular I have experienced both good and bad coaching, the current coach drove me to quit on my senior year in the sport I have played since 3rd grade. That is pretty self explanatory, she is very condescending, rude and is a bad coach. The atmosphere is good most of the times but recently I have seen bullying going on in the school. I feel as though most administrators don’t even notice and sort of push the problem away when it gets brought up to them. Overall the school is pretty good.
Alexander was a great school for academics. There were plenty of opportunities to grow with my learning. However, when it comes to extra curriculars it was difficult to be given chances unless you know the correct people. They loved to leave the "bad" players out.
Very community- based. Generally good relations between everyone, but some people are discriminated against.
