Star Wars: The Clone War's Ahsoka Tano looks regal in Star Wars old military fan art. Ahsoka's character arc on Clone Wars began with her being Anakin Skywalker's Padawan to becoming a fully fledged Jedi in her own right, to eventually leaving the Jedi Order and ultimately surviving Order 66The Clone Wars may have ended recently, but Ahsoka's story is far from over.

There was an initial fan backlash to Ahsoka when she first appeared. However due in no small part to actress Ashley Eckstein's fantastic voice acting and the Clone Wars team's emotionally resonant writing, Ahsoka quickly became a fan favorite. Her relationship with Anakin not only allowed fans to understand her character better, but it also enhanced Anakin's tragic character arc. After all, it was Anakin who helped clear Ahsoka's name after she was falsely accused of bombing the Jedi Temple. Ironically, both Anakin and Ahsoka became disillusioned with the Jedi Order. However, Ahsoka's choice to form her own path but still remain on the light side set her apart from her former master.

Instagram artist Scadarts has been completing a series of incredible Star Wars fan art pieces featuring famous faces from the franchises. The art consists of Star Wars characters being artfully photoshopped into old military portraits. Each piece is so realistic that fans have been asking if they can buy prints. Check out Ahsoka's incredibly cool and regal portrait below.

The portrait is a stunning tribute to an extraordinary character. One of Star War's great strengths is the fascinating characters that inhabit the galaxy, who strive to improve their status in the world and fight for good or evil (or both if you're Anakin Skywalker.) Ahsoka's character is compelling to watch because she grows immensely from the first and last times fans see her on screen. She works hard, fails, but never stops fighting for what she thinks is right. The Clone Wars ended with Ahsoka surviving Order 66, but fans will see her again in The Mandalorian season 2It's also rumored she could appear in the Obi-Wan TV show as well. It will be incredibly interesting to see what her character is up to after the Empire's defeat - including the possibility of crossing paths with Baby Yoda. There also has been rumors of an Ahsoka centered Disney+ show, which would definitely be another great way to explain what happened to the character after the end of Clone Wars and before The Mandalorian.

Ahsoka Tano is without a doubt one of the best characters to come out of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She's a fierce fighter, and definitely deserves to have more of her story told. The Skywalker saga may have come to an end last year, with The Clone Wars following suit this year. However, Ahsoka's story is really just beginning.
