Thomas Edison stole so many inventions and called them his own it's ridiculous, I could name a few. Light bulb for one, even though he lost that lawsuit in British court. We were taught so many lies in school that glorified the wrong people.
Even worse, Edison electrocuted a number of animals to death to "prove" DC current was safer than AC current (proposed by Westinghouse) just to advocate his point.
I'm not a big animal rights person but even I'm disgusted at that.
Yes, the elephant was the worst. Edison was a scumbag! I feel sorry for Tesla, that man was brilliant.
Oreo cookies are a ripoff of Hydrox cookies.
Apples GUI interface was stolen by Bill Gates and Microsoft. Even MS DOS wasnt a creation of his he bought it from someone
Windows itself was bought and not made by them. They stole the GUI and many other things from apple lol. don’t know how accurate it is but the movie “Silicon Valley” is a really good watch and it shows the creation of both Steve Jobs and bill gates.
Thomas Edison everything from Tesla
Bill Gates
Bill Gates stole windows from Xerox
Nah, that was Steve Jobs.
Apple big selling point for the Lisa and then the Mac was the graphical interface. In fact the GUI was developed by Xerox on 1973, 10 years before the Mac was released. It was called WIMP - Windows, Icons, Mouse, Pointer and developed by Xerox at their Paulo Alto Research Centre (Xerox PARC). Not stolen as it wasn't patented I think, but certainly not developed by Apple either.
Google stole google earth from Art & Com - it was called Terra Vision
