Parasyte: The Grey director Yeon Sang-Ho emphasized the difference between the latest Netflix series and his previous projects at a press conference on Tuesday.

He said, “I previously worked on series that had creatures appear on-screen, but the creatures in my previous works had consistent forms. In this series, the creatures constantly change their forms, which made the computer graphics work more challenging.”

Sang-Ho further stated, “I pondered whether there could be the possibility of coexistence between humans and creatures that are nonhuman, for humans.” He added, “I aimed to pose a question regarding the nature of the relationships between organizations and individuals living in Korean society.”

Moreover, the screenwriter of Parasyte: The Grey is Ryu Yong-Jae. The main cast members include Jeon So-Nee as Jung Soo-In, Koo Kyo-Hwan as Seol Kang-Woo, and Lee Jung-Hyun as Choi Joon-Kyung. Other supporting actors are Kwon Hae-Hyo and Kim In-Kwon.

The thriller drama series will premiere on Friday, April 5, 2024, on Netflix. It will consist of six episodes, which will likely be released at once.
