Lesson Description
In a full day of mind-blowing guided backcountry snowboarding, telemarking or skiing, Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) will share techniques and tactics to hone your skiing, boost your safety knowledge, and heighten your awareness in big mountain terrain.
Backcountry skiing/snowboarding takes place outside of the Whistler-Blackcomb resort boundaries. Climb up, then ski down. With no line-ups, chairlifts, or trail markers the possibilities are endless and the views are breathtaking.
Explore the backcountry with fellow ski touring & split boarding enthusiasts.
Ability Level: Advanced skier, has previous splitboarding & ski touring experience.
Exertion Level: Medium-High (~2.5+ hours of hiking)
Available: Wednesday & Saturday

Gear Required: Touring skis or Splitboard & Avalanche Safety Gear
