Andheri East hotels & places to stay

This hotel is by far one of the best hotels that i have stayed at in all of India.(compares with The Taj Exotica in Goa and the Jaypee Palace in Agra) there was a small issue about the name as we knew it as The Leela Kempinski and when asking for directions, the locals only knew it as The Leela, later discovering it to be the same hotel. The double headed shower was a first for me and a unique feature. A small mistake that i made when booking through Agoda was that some how my accomodation did not include breakfast. I had to pay for this separately and being a five star hotel with buffet breakfast, it proved to be very costly as i had two children(12 and 13 yrs) which did not do justice to the lovely huge range available. Other than that, this hotel will definitely remain in our memory for a long time.

Less than half a KM from the airport, good food available round the clock, Service from the staff is really great.. cabs and public transport available throughout the day. rooms are clean and tidy, great place for business travellers, and people looking to stay closer to the airport and near Andheri east. only issue was the rooms are not sound proof or built too close to each other. you can actually hear other occupants speak..

We were a family of four with two young children (under 10) and booked this place for a day's break journey before catching a international flight. It turned out to be a perfect stop-over on way from domestic to international airport. Check-in was smooth and we were swiftly escorted to our room which was big. We spent the day mostly in hotel resting and took a leisurely lunch buffet which was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located near the Mumbai metro rail and we even managed to take a short ride to Andheri West station and market just to give a glimpse of Mumbai to our two youngsters. Overall had a lovely stay!

We stayed in the Hilton Mumbai on the last night of a two week holiday in Southern India. The hotel is easily the best 'airport' hotel we have ever stayed in, and we've visited a few! The location is spot on for Mumbai Intl airport (minutes away), the hotel itself is classy and charming, with a real personality; unlike the 'typical' Hilton run of hotels that all look alike (while still being good of course). The staff could not do enough for us, service was exemplary. Great pool and a top class gym. While not cheap, certainly worth it.

We did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised, the check in staff was exceptionally polite and helpful and our rooms on the second floor was spacious with sound proof Windows with a remote control for the curtains and the best bathroom that I have seen on this trip. The breakfast was good, but we decided to have dinner there as they had a roof top bar chm restaurant the food sounded exciting but did not have the right taste the flaming chicken wings was the best and the best cocktail was the candy crush. The swimming pool looked nice but the water was cold. I would definitely go back again

The good points - the room is very well appointed, with sound-proofed windows capable of blocking virtually all the street noise. The hotel was clean, the room had all the amenities and extras you'd expect in a 4 star hotel. The bad points - the pre-paid hotel shuttle didn't come when ordered (they claim it came and went) and the double bed I'd booked turned out to be twins - and I haven't been short enough to fit in one of those for over 50 years! Front desk staff was indifferent and, when asked if the room was on the non-street side and whether the bed was a double, she replied "yes" to both - both answers patently untrue! Very convenient to the airport. All in all, if you get a competent reception at the front desk, this would be a great place to stay!

The stay at Hyatt Regency was very comfortable. It is less than a 5-min ride away from the international airport. And Andheri is idea location to stay at if one plans on going to different parts of Mumbai for business meetings. The staff is very courteous, helpful, and the rooms are good - I loved the big slanting window across a wall with wide window sill in my room. The view isn't great though (just overlooks the traffic enroute to the airport!). The spa, steam / sauna services are good.

Bardzo dobry hotel z darmowym wifi i (w zależności od opcji) darmowym transportem na lotnisko. Jest daleko od Gateway of India i Colaby, więc jeżeli planujecie dłuższy pobyt w południowej cześci Mumbaju, to raczej wybierzcie coś bliżej CST. Jezeli BOM jest tylko etapem w podróży i np. chcecie się wybrac na plażę Juhu, czy w stronę Bollywood czy przenocować przed kolejnym lotem, to Suba jest idealnym wyborem o bardzo wysokim standardzie. Polecam. Aby wybrać się na Colabę koszt taxi to max 400 INR, przy tej odległości (ponad 25), to za darmo, zwłaszcza jeżeli jedziecie w 3-4 osoby np. Do centrów handlowych w Andheri West jest 7 km, tukiem to max 100 INR. Korki w mieście zabijają, a dojazd pociągiem z Andheri to samobójstwo, nawet dla kogoś, kto przeżył podróż Kolejami Mazowieckiemu. Restauracja w hotelu nie jest droga - jak na 4 gwiazdki, to w cenie polskiego baru.

If you are interested in a decent size room to sleep near airport pls go ahead. Its close to metro but Mumbai doesn't run on metro. Andheri east looks dull if u compare to West & nearby area is poor that's why u r paying less. Breakfast is Indian with average range.If U get a good price pls take it as overall its a safe n reliable place, some of the Mumbai hotels have cramped rooms with even worst locality. For me it was value for money through agoda. Will give 3.5 overall rating with no issue from agoda or hotel but there is scope of improvement from breakfast to toiletries.

After 2 weeks in the village with a 5 year old and a 8 year old visiting India for the first time this hotel was an absolute god send. The staff are always ready to help and were always for friendly and helpful. When we went to the restaurant on the first night we had a dedicated person who served the starters at our table and made a genuine effort to make conversation with the kids and my father in law whike serving us. The room was clean and the facilities were something that I wouldnt expect necessarily at home from a hotel paying £50 a night. The powerful rainforest shower in the bathroom, large flat screen TV and super comfortable bed were added luxuries that we and the kids really appreciated at the end of our lovely holiday in India. The only critisim I would have is that the windows in the room we were staying in looked like they had been taped shut which didnt meet the standards of the room and although there was no gaps we could hear the busy traffic outside in our room at night. I would make people aware that we also had to ask for an extra bed in the room which they happily made up for a charge however it was a mattress in the floor which everyone may not be happy with however my son thought it was cool because he thought he was camping. Overall a lovely hotel, only 10 minutes from the airport with all the facilities you appreicate from a 4 star hotel in India.

We were in mumbai for a business event and spent 8 nights here. The rooms are better than you can see in the pictures, the gym is the best equipped health club Gym in mumbai, the restaurants and accommodating and they don't mention they have a daily lunch and evening buffet which is extraordinary value. There are some small shops around the corner if you need additional personal items, uber is easy to anywhere a d you aren't stuck in an "airport area" you are 20 minutes away from the city centre and malls etc. The staff are just incredible and kind, all of them. I need to mention the breakfast, some people have said on reviews the breakfast is average, this is nonsense. Fresh fruit, Indian dishes, continental dishes, croissants, smoothies AND THE eggs man! I letter that are beyond reproach with anything you want. Breakfast is AWESOME!!

I travelled to India as a solo female and felt very safe during my stay. The hotel arranged for someone to hold up a sign at the airport with my name on it then I was taken to the shuttle to the hotel. The staff were very friendly! The hotel is about 5 minutes away from the airport and about 45 minutes from downtown Mumbai (only about $7 uber ride one way). I liked the location because I got to see north Mumbai and still visit South Mumbai (where most tourists go). Very good authentic Indian food at the hotel! You just order through room service and they send the food up to your room.

Negative - The hotel is located in the MIDC area, and, whilst it's not far from the most places that you would wish to visit as a tourist, the TRAFFIC is horrendous for most parts of the day. In peak hours, it could take 1 - 1.5 hours or more to get to/from the hotel. Related to this, it becomes expensive to travel to the tourist "hot spots" from this hotel. Positive - The hotel has wonderful staff [special mention of Ms. Tehjel] who are professional, polite, efficient and generally offer a great service. The rooms are nice and comfortable and are big enough with tasteful and modern furnishings and fittings which are pleasant to the eye. The beds are a bit hard, but are okay and the rooms are well maintained and serviced daily. The bathroom is as pleasant and has a bath and shower. The shower is excellent and the bathroom is neat and clean, is serviced daily and fresh towels are made available at each service. The highlight for us was NAVYA RESTAURANT situated in the hotel. The customer service [special mention of Mr. Sumit and Mr. Arjun] is of the highest standard and this is matched by the superb menu and generous portions of the highest quality, most delicious and best tasting food one will ever experience. Another great positive at this hotel was the free wi-fi, it's excellent and was available in the lobby, rooms and restaurant. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Regale, and if not for the location, we would not hesitate to book again at this hotel.

Spent one night at the hotel before flying out of Mumbai. The location is very close to the international airport so even with the horrific traffic in Andheri East the trip does not take long. Our room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was very nice although there was not a lot of space around the toilet so I felt a bit squashed between the wall and the shower cubicle (to be fair I am quite big, my wife had no problems). Counter staff were polite and check in went well, however they seem to be less motivated at night and it took them 20 minutes to print an email I sent to them. Check out in the morning went smoothly. We had the buffet breakfast in the morning and the non-Indian options were of average quality (didn't try the Indian option). As is almost always the case in any hotel the food in the buffet us not hot and I had to ask them to heat up my sausages etc in the microwave. The restaurant staff however were polite and helpful. Overall I would be more than happy to stay here again.

We were shifted to another hotel of theirs near Saki Naka junction without prior intimation. When asked, they said that they couldn't accommodate us in the booked hotel. This seemed fishy as I've read previous reviews where customers have complained of the same problem. The other hotel, where they shifted us, is good enough for a night's stay. The breakfast was good and the rooms were small, but clean. The air conditioner in our room wasn't working properly. Overall a decent stay. Recommended for business travelers.

hotel is good located near to airport . it is convinent for business people to relax and start meetings the business clients . food is good , wireless internet facility excellent better than many so called 5 star hotels , reception , other staff very co operative . sai baba and ganesh at the enterance creates positive vibrations when you enter this place ... good one ... would like to stay again and again

Impressively helpful staff. I have stayed in many hotels but never seen staff so welcoming other than 5-star hotels. If the vicinity of the hotel is not your concern then go for this hotel. Close to airports and to the JB Nagar metro station. The only caveat is the surrounding area. The hotel is surrounded by a slum. Didn't feel comfortable walking on the narrow slum street at night time. Room service, cleanliness, the staff was nice.

I will surely recommend to stay at Keys Hotel Nestor, Mumbai. I will give a big plus to this hotel for the location. And, staff is very gentle and polite to us, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a huge variety of Indian recipes. While they know that my younger daughter had birthday, they arranged a beautiful & tasty cake on breakfast table and we celebrated cake cutting with full staff of hotel. I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Chef who arranged the cake and get all staff for cake cutting cermony. All the best to current management team of hotel. Please continue the same job. Located in well-connected Anderi East, this hostel is 1,5 hr away from South Mumbai (Coloba). Be welcomed by the super super friendly staff and take the free tour with Rahul. Bedlinnen pristine and nice-smelling, lovely showers (good water pressure and hot water), and great help in booking my train ticket onwards. Laundry available. No street noise! Food could be better, but who cares - there’s lots of options in the neighborhood. Definately recommend!

I booked for 3nights through Agoda,pre-paid,1st night miserable, couldn't sleep due to the variety of insect bites. Complained next day,got the sheets changed, so slightly better next night, but couldn't sleep till midnight,as neighbour kept his TV on ...and as the walls are paper thin it felt like I was sitting next to the TV. Even though I tried to blank out my hearing,on 3rd night I was overwhelmed bc cacophony of all four neighbouring rooms. After the first night, asked to check out and collect my balance advance.But the hotel refused refund as it had been pre-paid online.NEVER AGAIN AM I GOING TO THIS HOTEL OR BOOK THROUGH AGODA. P.S. oh! forgot to mention the food.... Medu- Wada for the complimentary breakfast that too only after 8.30 am, as the COOK doesn't arrive until then, and on the last i.e 3rd morning,even that was not available and ended up with cold Poha with cold tea. ZOMATO saved me from agony of going hungry every night.ZOMATO delivers right up to your room.

Ginger Hotel at Andheri East in Mumbai is a good, nice hotel with small but comfortable rooms with a queen-sized double bed and a small writing table in the room. The bathroom was clean. At the time of stay, it is a new hotel and it shows. It is a typical business hotel, which may explain the smaller sized rooms. The staff was courteous and the check-in was smooth. Also, during the stay the service was provided with a smile. Breakfast was not included in the stay. We felt the paid breakfast was a bit expensive. However the spread was sufficient. The only uncomfortable aspect of the room was that there was a pillar (column) in the middle of the room near one corner of the bed which was in the way. I'm hoping that other rooms have a better plan. The hotel is close enough, though not immediately next to the airport. Overall a good hotel, and can be recommended for a short stay in Mumbai.

Excellent restaurant. Earplugs a must as traffic noise and dogs barking are incessant even at night. Very convenient to the airport - they do provide free pick-up, but you need to request it. If youw ant to go in to town, it will take you 2.5 hours as the traffic is very slow. there is nothing of interest to see around the hotel, so if you want to see the interesting buildings and wwalk around the centre of the city, better to stay in the CBD. Also more plesant walking there as there are lovely trees etc. Walkig near the hotel is and obstacle course and the footpaths are very broken up and uneven. Staff were mostly very plesant, tho there was one older grumpy guy on reception some of the time.
