Dune is a landmark science fiction novel first published in 1965 and the first in a 6-book saga penned by author Frank Herbert. Widely considered one of the greatest works within the sci-fi genre, Dune has been the subject of various film and TV adaptations, including the Academy Award winning 2021 film Dune directed by Denis Villeneuve. Dune: Part Two opened on March 1, 2024.

It's getting released in mid December and I know Corona isn't going to be reduced to properly low levels before then. Given this, where the hell do we watch it? What streaming services will have it? I've been googling everywhere and I can't find anything.

It seems like a lot of theaters are starting to reopen with reduced capacities. I'm guessing it will premiere in theaters...which bums me out, because I'm not about to set foot in one.

I haven't gone to one yet which has taken tremendous discipline as I love going to the movies.
I'm a little more used to going out during Covid as I'm classified as an essential worker (not one of the more heroic kinds) so my life has involved a lot of sitting in a 90% empty office building and no contact dining.
Probably had to face a little more risk than some but not like a medical worker or anything.
Sit down restaurants reopened with restrictions and I've gone a few times but don't want to make a habit of it yet. I am very tempted to go to a particular exhibit in a museum which is now open.
I guess it will all depend on the level of public safety in my area when Dune finally gets here.
