Paint Branch trail is beautiful and a perfect spot to walk, run, bike, rollerblade, sit on a bench, or stroll around Lake Artemisia. Even better and for those more ambitious is it links to the NW Branch trail which will take you (traveling south) to the newly opened trail past the Bladensburg Marina and into Washington DC by the Navy Yards. Gorgeous ride and lots to explore!

These trails are the best and they go on, and will eventually take you to DC. We are lucky to live here and they are worth taking. Destination.

I love this place. It is near a stream. There is no much traffic. Many trees have broken branches but.... For the rest it is clean and near the University of MD there are some emergency phones.

I've been looking for a trail to walk on during lunch and I've finally found one. The Paint Branch Trail winds along the paint branch creek. It's surrounded by woods and is surprising quiet even in the crowded College Park area. It was a nice walk.

Serene and scenic, but beware of snakes. My granddaughters were ready to go after seeing a snake in the trail. Otherwise - perfect.

My husband introduced me to this walking trail and was I delighted. It has lovely and quiet meandering paths that keep you under a canopy of trees. Very clean and people you pass recognize and appreciate this trail too. It is a tucked away gem trail for walking, jogging and biking.
Can't wait to get a bike and use it this Spring. Enjoy!
