My daughter has been rubbing it for years she's 6 years old now and has been using it since she was about 2I like the parental settings that requires her to read a book or do something educational for the first 2 hours before she can play with any other apps and the sleep settings are different for each day they have weekday settings and weekend settings of windmill tablet will wake up and when the tablet to go to sleep.over almost completely satisfied with it the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have an option for like Netflix kids to be able to show up or YouTube TV filters that would be able to be played with in that option of the app. Like they do for the firestick. But other than that I like it an she loves it

So many things wrong with this app. First of all it is loaded into the kids profile on the firestick automatically. all it shows is locked content unless you pay.
-no ability to put YOUR apps at the top for easier access. they are hidden 6 or 7 rows down. your child has to scroll through rows and rows of locked content.
-no access to channels that you have purchased, including pbs kids channel
-no ability to remove content. some of the content is vapid and or violent.
-you MUST use Amazon kids if you want a kids profile on Amazon firestick.
-even things that are free for prime members are locked in Amazon kids+ if you don't pay again. yes I said that...YOU MUST PAY TWICE FOR CONTENT YOU OWN.
-the voice command doesn't work. no good for kids who are poor spellers. and not to mention cumbersome even if you can spell.
-no ability to manage time settings unless you use Amazon kids+ and you can't control content except to add your own apps. otherwise unless you pay its a sea of locked content with your apps buried at the bottom.

FIRESTICK NEEDS A KIDS PROFILE THATS NOT PRE-FILLED WITH "AMAZON APPROVED" CONTENT. I thought I was the parent.

Its was pretty easy to set up a profile for my child and I love that I can filter what apps are being accessed but now we keep getting "low storage" messages every time he is watching something. Also every few days he gets on and he has to reload Netflix, hulu and Disney+. Sometimes it makes us sign back in completely. It is beginning to get really frustrating. I've deleted multiple apps and still having problems.

FreeTime is great and when it because available for our fire tv, we HAD to install it! My son's tablet has it and now is able to also get it on the fire tv. He only gets to watch tv while we cut his nails or cut his hair and its great to have sesame street available anytime or pete the cat which he loves!

Uns hat gefallen, dass man es direkt für das Alter des Kindes einstellen kann. Schade ist nur, dass man darauf nicht Conni schauen kann. Dafür müssen wir auf das "erwachsenen" Profil wechseln. Was sehr schade ist. So muss unsere Tochter immer einen von uns fragen, ob wir ihr es einstellen. Ansonsten sehr gut.
