Hi there! I love this - Is it not available in Afrikaans?
Hello jeandr2839,
Thanks for commenting. I can see this being a useful addition - I'll pass your suggestion over to our translation team, to see if we're able to provide this. Because these requests require specialist input, they do take longer than other requests, but we will be back in touch if we can provide this. I hope this helps!
The video doesnt work here in the UK either.
Hi bowden.lyndsey,
Sorry to hear you're having a few issues. I've checked it over and it seems to be working properly.
To enable our lovely PowerPoints to work properly, I would recommend, when viewing the PowerPoint, select 'Enable Editing' if this is displayed as an option. Any animations, links or other special features will work best when the PowerPoint is viewed as a Slideshow. To do this, simply click on the Slideshow tab and select 'View from beginning'.
I hope this helps and I will also send a copy of the video link to you. If you need further guidance please get back in touch and we'll find a solution! :)
I've done all of the above and the video doesn't work.
Hi benwoodcock,

Good afternoon lozzib,
Thanks for your comment - we'll review this resource and look into it as soon as we can. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with at all in the meantime.
Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch and I'm sorry to hear you have had issues accessing the video. If clicking the hyperlink isn't automatically opening the video, we have added the web link to the slide that you could copy-and-paste into your browser's address bar. I hope this helps!

Good morning puddle17,
We're grateful for all the lovely requests we receive here at Twinkl HQ! Our resource creation team will look into creating an alternative version of this powerpoint with a video link that is accessible in Australia and will be in touch to let you know if this is possible! Have a lovely day :)

Andy Warhol was the most successful and highly paid illustrator in New York even before he began to make art for galleries.
Warhol became captivated by Marilyn Monroe’s lavish, fairytale lifestyle and wished to depict her as a goddess that everybody envied. This makes sense, since he loved the reckless, happy-go-lucky party lifestyle that rock stars have.
He wanted his women to look like beauty icons, hence there were never any blemishes, spots, lines or ‘bags’ underneath their eyes. His screen-printed images of Monroe, as well as other projects such as Campbell’s soup cans, quickly became synonymous with the pop art movement itself in the 1960s.
Much of Warhol's work explores themes like mass consumerism, celebrity culture, and artistic expression.
Warhol progressed into many different forms of art, such as film, video installations, photography, performance art, sculptures painting, printmaking, music and writing. He communicated his art in all sorts of forms, becoming a great source of inspiration for not only prints and painting, but for fashion. His first job was actually for fashion magazines and illustrating adverts for them.
Warhol was sick in bed for several months due to catching a potentially fatal disease affecting the nervous system (Chorea, or St Vitus' Dance), at just age eight. His mother gave him drawing lessons during this time, which soon became his favourite hobby. His mother then bought him a camera at age nine and there, he took up photography too, since he was also an avid film enthusiast. He even made a little home-made darkroom in his basement!
Some of Warhol’s most famous pieces of art are:
Andy Warhol died in 1987 but his artistic style, works and legacy are still a big part of popular culture to this day.
