Storyline
As a cruel joke, billionaire William Randolph Hughes planted a series of boxes around the Southwest, in the hopes that someone would find them. The first box told the discoverer that an enormous fortune was buried in a box somewhere, along with directions to the hiding place. When the box is uncovered, however, all it contains is instructions on how to find the next box, and so on. As luck would have it, the first box is discovered by several people at once, leading to a frantic chase from one hiding spot to the next in the hopes that one of them will finally hold the loot. This was billed in some countries as It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World Part 2 and never seemed to get a theatrical release in the U.S. and went straight to video in Canada. The film borrows a lot of elements from the 1963 film. The plot has a group of characters chasing after a septic tanker truck driver who apparently has cash hidden somewhere. The truck is shaped and colored like an actual bumblebee. The acting and slapstick comedy is passable, but if you want real laughs, check out the original '63 version.
