More specific naming?[edit]

'Music Season' is so generic. For example, many bands in the US tour during the summer and early Fall. It is their music season. Isn't this entry better off as being named the 'Carnatic Music Season' or 'Madras Music Season'? - Thaths 15:51, 29 November 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

MADRAS MUSIC SEASON 2006-2007[edit]

World largest festival of Indian classical music is here again - MADRAS MUSIC SEASON - featuring outstanding veterans as well as talented artists from the younger generation.

Im not sure if the reference to the Hindu is adequate to describe it as 'the world's largest cultural event.' --Sottai (talk) 04:33, 7 March 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The article isn't describing it as the world's largest cultural event; it merely points out that it has been described so (by other sources, such as the Hindu which is cited). Ncmvocalist (talk) 05:56, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
