Exciting news emerged Thursday for NFL fans, who now have a new way to watch their favorite football games: by streaming all "NFL on CBS" content through CBS All Access, the network's over-the-top platform.

The NFL and CBS announced a new multi-year deal that will allow CBS to carry the games on the streaming platform, beginning in Week 13 on Sunday, Dec. 4.

"We are very pleased that our partnership with the NFL has been expanded to include CBS All Access," CBS chairman Leslie Moonves said. "Adding the most watched programming on television, to the most watched network on television, will be a powerful combination as we continue to grow CBS All Access into the future."

CBS All Access, which you can try for a week free by clicking right here, is already ahead of the curve when it comes to providing over-the-top content (OTT) from the network. There are more than 8,500 episodes available for streaming currently, including hit shows like "CSI","CSI: Miami," "Criminal Minds," "Frasier" and "90210" (don't pretend you don't love it).

"Big Brother," "Blue Bloods," "The Big Bang Theory," basically every single "Star Trek" and much, much more are available.

The OTT platform also features original content like "Big Brother: Over the Top" (pretty sure there's a 24-hour camera involved at some point) and the upcoming OTT-only "Star Trek: Discovery."

Fans can use the service on CBS.com, Apple TV, Amazon FireStick, Roku, Android, Xbox, PS4 and generally just about any platform there is when it comes to streaming.

With the addition of the NFL partnership, the content only becomes more robust, while making the NFL's distribution for content even wider than before.

"CBS has been one of our most trusted and valuable partners for over 50 years, and we're happy to extend our relationship with them in new and exciting ways," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "Distribution of our games on CBS All Access is a win for the millions of NFL fans across the country, especially those looking to watch our games on these emerging digital platforms."

Here's another bonus: CBS All Access subscribers will be able to sample from NFL GamePass, the league's subscription service that allows subscribers to rewatch every single game from multiple broadcast angles.

Viewing patterns are changing, and with NFL games now incorporated, one of the most dynamic OTT subscription offerings only becomes better.
