Ben Roethlisberger (chest) in pain, can play for Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral) is in pain when he throws, but he is still expected to start in Week 3 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
Roethlisberger suffered the injury in Week 2 when he finished with 27-of-40 completions for 295 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Even though Roethlisberger is expected to play, the injury could limit his deep ball attempts. The veteran's average depth of target (8.2 yards) ranks 22nd and his adjusted completion percentage (69.1) is 31st among quarterbacks with double-digit attempts this season.
Roethlisberger is the QB25 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings and he has a $6,900 salary on FanDuel in Week 3. The Bengals are ranked 13th in FanDuel points allowed per game to the quarterback position this season.
